Positive points: Really good Location in Hanoi. Outside is not too loud and your quickly in old town. The bed is quiet soft. If you prefer hard mattresses then you won’t like this one. Also a kitchen with the things you might need and a really sweet coffeeshop on the ground floor

Negative points: Bathroom was really smelly and moldy :( only stayed for some days so it was fine but because of that could not stay longer

Positive points: The location is the only good thing in this hotel.

Negative points: Worst experience in Vietnam. Ants everywhere, the bedroom was so damp. No toilet paper. I first booked another hotel and they told me there was a problem with the water of my room so they told me to go here instead. The hotel has no reception you have to call the receptionist for him to come and do the check in or solve your problems. When I said I wanted to leave earlier because of all these problems but especially the ants crawling in my luggage and clothes, they told me the company cannot refund me. Worst hotel I've been so far.

Review: Quite place. I booked room with 1 bed but received 2 beds. Facility is not very good. Place is very near The Old Quater.

Positive points: Room was comfortable and clean. Was nice to have a kitchenette and was well equipped. Bathroom was clean too. Coffee shop downstairs is nice!

Negative points: Our room had zero soundproofing and some gaps in the windows. Heard guests coming back late at night and the constant traffic noise all night.

Review: When I checked in, the place looked like it wasn't clean thoroughly. But fair enough, since the rate is quite cheap for the area.

I then decided to have a sleep over at my friends place and went to nihn bin early the next morning. Back to the hotel around 11pm on second day, the first thing I noticed when I opened the door was the smell. Then I saw a cockroach running around.

Contracted the check in guy to let him know. He replied hours later that I shouldn't open the window and he will take a look tomorrow.

I never opened any window??? Can't even reach the window. Asked him if he didn't do room check in between occupants to close the window and check cleanliness? The guy never answered.

I later went down at 2am to check out, already told the guy beforehand but no one was there. The security slept and can't be woken up. The guy didn't pick up his phone. Took me a long time to figure out how to leave the key best. He finally replied once I'm at the airport.

Still no comment about the cockroach btw. I can't stay in the room any longer because the cockroach kept crawling around the room.
Some of my items smell like roaches.

Positive points: Staff was nice and was attentive, but the facility isn’t great…the bed are insanely hard, there was mold in the bathroom’s ceiling and it was right next to the street so any noise was heard. I didn’t get to sleep much and had to cancel the second night I took.

Negative points: Mold in the bathroom’s ceiling, hard mattress and thin walls where you could hear everything from the next street

Review: I am happy with the room for the money. The staff sit outside on the corner of the street but they ate extremely nice and professional. My friends stay at Du Lac Hotel which is 10 minutes walking distance. The room at Du lac is smaller , has no window but 3 times more expensive. I am glad i found this place. Will be back again if i choose to stay In Hanoi.

Positive points: Location was great within walking distance to some of the places in central town.
Coffee shop on the premises made it convenient.

Negative points: The check in was literally on the street.
The room was not cleaned before we checked in and we had to wait about 30min for them to sort out.
