Positive points: Great location - a quiet street near to the lake, old quarter and amazing coffee places ! Linh at the hostel was lovely and very helpful in organising tours and I had a great 3 day trip to Sapa with smooth pick up etc. the beds were also comfy, with stairs up to the top bunks. Lockers were spacious too.

Review: This place is located in the middle of an alley. Walkable distance from the train station (disclaimer: assuming one is willing to walk for 30-40mins to the old quarter district).

Got a room on the 3rd floor, and prompt check in. There is a small lamp and one electrical socket at the side. There's a wall mounted small fan too.

There is a simple breakfast for the one I booked (bread + tea/coffee). Saves time going out to find food if your itinerary is tight.

Areas of improvement:
1) the dorm room door doesn't close well, it will just open after some time but not a big issue to me
2) They don't seem to provide towels but luckily I brought my own.
3) Understand that the whole dorm may smell bad if everyone starts hanging their towel/clothes around but it did bring about some inconvenience.

Overall, it is still an affordable and nice place for short stays in Hanoi.

Positive points: Alex at the reception was really helpful, he kindly helped us when booking our buses to Sapa. When we came back 2 weeks later he remembered us and accepted to take care of our bags (flight was in the evening so did not have any reservations at the place)

Positive points: The location is great, only a few minutes away from the Old Quarter. There's hardly any noise and the room is clean. Staff is helpful and eager to help with booking different activities.

Review: 10인 도미토리 신청하였는데 2층으로 배정해줘서 편하게 올라갈 수 있었어요, 짐이 많아서 엘리베이터가 없으니 높은 층이었다면 힘들었을 것 같아요. 침대 옆 공간이 넓어서 캐리어랑 백팩 둘 수 있고 밑에 열쇠로 잠그는 공간도 있어서 짐을 두기에 충분히 넓었어요.

Review: THE TOILETS ARE IN THE DORM ! 10 people pooping, urinating & showering inside a dorm with no windows...

Balcony door was padlocked closed and staff refused to open it. AC had the power disconnected & I had to argue with them to turn it on.

It was like sleeping in a poop-sauna... the worst hostel dorm I have ever stayed in.

Bunk had multiple hairs on the bedding. Pillow smelled like body odor. Doubt they changed the bedding.

Photos look better than real life. Stay here at your own risk. Paid for multiple nights but left after one.

Review: Hot shower but limited time. Small hot water tank shared between two showers. Free coffee and tea. Reception staff is fantastic! Bunk room could be cleaner, but isn't terrible. No smell of mold or mildew in 12 bunk room on second floor. Average deals on excursion prices. Easy walk to Exim bank, no ATM fee. And to Lifted cafe. Amazing breakfast

Positive points: The rooms are clean and spacious. The location in the old town is great.
