Hanoi La Selva Hotel

Review: I booked a deluxe room(Please check the room size) but it was not big enough size. They said that it is an updated room.... And I stayed with a group of tour people on the same floor. They smoked and fought, shouting at each other outside of their room in the early morning (7 am - 8 am) Lastly I booked a standard room for a late flight on the last day from reception. They gave better room than the previous booking. It was a cheaper room... I could not understand the system. Kind services but not organized. The room was not good enough for 3 stars.

Review: I stayed two days in this hotel when I come back from SAPA. Breakfast is the good ones.

Positive points: The hotel is in such an ideal location being just 2 minutes from the lake and close to many cafes and restaurants too! It was very clean and the bed was so comfortable. The customer service was the best I have ever experienced anywhere! Mr Jackie catered to my every need both pre and post my stay in the hotel, he is an absolute ray of sunshine! The rest of the staff were fabulous too and so kind and helpful, I felt very welcomed and comfortable.

Positive points: Hotel is awesomely located in the heart of the Old Quarter. Walking distance to just about everything. Comfy beds and staff that are SUPER helpful.

The staff and manager, Jackie Le, went above and beyond to accommodate all our needs, ensuring a truly enjoyable and pleasant stay. We greatly appreciated their prompt and attentive response to any issues. After the check-out, when my friend wasn’t feeling well, they even provided us with a room where she could rest for a few hours free of charge. This level of care and exceptional service is why we highly recommend the La Selva Hotel.

Review: This was a truly wonderful stay. In the chaos of Hanoi, staying at La Selva and having their wonderful team of staff assist, make recommendations, or even just enquire about your day, made the stay memorable.

The manager was particularly helpful and responsive. I booked my ongoing travel with them which went off without a hitch. I also joined a group food tour that was very well run and worth doing.

The bed and rooms were comfortable, the shower and bathroom were a little snug. There was also no window but I understand there indicative of Hanoi accommodation - it’s not an issue as you will be out most of the day regardless!

I would happily stay here again.
