Review: Hotel is located at good location just a minutes walking to the Hoan Kiem Lake and in the weekend walking street areas,
Positive points: Location was great, by the lake and in the old quarter with all the shops and restaurants. Staff were very helpful with taxis etc. Rooms ok and had own bathrooms and kettle, TV etc.
Negative points: Hotel a bit run down, needs updating, decorating, floors need re doing

Near establishments with quality food. Very near the lake which is great for morning exercises and walk.
Facilities a little aged and dated but functional. Overall acceptable quality for the price point for Hanoi.
Positive points: Pictures listed on Booking.com. I know anywhere near what their rooms are actually like. This was one of the worst stays I have had in a long time. The beds are absolutely ridiculously hard. I am not even joking. It is probably softer to sleep on the floor. The bathroom is rundown and most of the rooms need a massive facelift.
Negative points: Just be aware that the pictures on the website are very outdated. The rooms look absolutely nothing like the pictures. The bed is absolutely ridiculously hard and it would be softer to sleep on the floor with some of your clothes from your suitcase.

Positive points: We stayed in 3 different rooms over 2 stays. The last room we stayed in was lovely and spacious. The Manager was really helpful. Location excellent.
Negative points:
Our booking did not show on the hotel’s records so we had to stay in a temporary room on the first night which was awful.
The only negative once we were allocated a different room was the shower. It only provided scalding water.

Negative points: Room was awful, didnt look like the pictures, windows had no curtains, bed was awful and very loud to just move on, plug socks were broken and wires exposed, shaver socket in the barhroom was all burnt, shower head couldnt move so when turned on it got all the bathroom wet
