Positive points: Top Quality Hotel in a great location. 5-10 minutes walk to the old quarter. Nothing negative to say about the property. Staff were excellent, our room was spacious, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was superb also.

Review: close to the main business district. renowned for holding some political and historical event. very kind staff. a little bit expensive considering its old facilities.

Review: I've always booked Melia for my boss and other co-workers when they traveled for business in Hanoi so many times but this time was so disappointed. They needed to attend an event which was held at Melia on the dame day of arrival and they just stayed one night and check out tomorrow. Because of the rush, one of my colleague could not receive his food parcel right away as he had to rush to the party straight away after just landing an hour ago. Therefore, he asked me if I could ask receptionist to keep it for in in reception but they said no with no empathy or little consideration. I know there is policy there and that but showing little consideration for guest in typical situation is what makes excellent customer service at 5 star hotel differentiate from others, isn't it? not to mention we're regular guest. really really disappointing at customer service of Melia Hanoi

Review: Had the Suite room. Great size with separate living room, bedroom, en-suite, second toilet and good coffee/tea making facilities. Bathroom huge and excellent shower.

Breakfast superb selection of various food types. Arguably too much choice!

Staff all very pleasant and on the ball. Defo my new go to place now in Hanoi.

Review: I was disappointed about few staffs this time, but they are very friendly and provide you good services. It is a little far from Old Quarter, but if you don’t mind 15 minutes walking, it won’t be a big issue.

Should be the choice for anyone who wants to stay in the centre as traffic can be bad sometimes so better be close to anywhere walking distance …

Positive points: From check in to check out staff were brilliant, helpful friendly. Big shout out to guy on concierge (chen?) Who went out of his way to help me charge my phone and Dat on the door who helped with luggage. Loved the layout, location, room. Food was great with friendly staff in Garbo bar. Really good!
