Review: スタッフがいい人でわざわざ館内の説明みたいなやつを日本語で用意してくれた。英語すら出来ない僕にむっちゃ頑張って説明してくれたいい人たちだった。

Positive points: The breakfast is great with a good selection. The chef and staff are grumpy. The roof top bar is great with good views.

Negative points: Definitely not a 4 star by normal rates and the spa is a taxi ride the other side of the old quaternary- which they don’t tell you. A good 3 star in a good location is what the hotel really is.

Positive points: Breakfast had big selection and was good--especially all the fresh fruit choices. Great location close to the lake, walkable to a lot of things. Service was wonderful, they arranged to have our laundry done and booked us a car to the airport on Tet. Bed was comfy and it was quiet at night. Good view from rooftop.

Review: Very dark small rooms and the hotel common area are extremely congested, very basic breakfast and the restaurant is very very small. Not at all recommended for family stay

Positive points: Some staff were polite and professional.

Negative points: Restaurant food worst meal in Vietnam, breakfast poor.
Rooftop for NYs was extremely disappointing, was significantly under staffed and unsafely
over crowded, as allowed too many people onto rooftop. To the point where couldn't see fireworks. Waited 30+min to order and pay for a drink that never arrived. Also never received free drink included in ticket price.
Mr Khuong (Customer Service Manager) - is very rude, especially dismissive towards women.
Checked into my room to find a man using the toilet. He said their toilet was broken.
Room was very small. Also very loud and struggled to sleep as would wake to people talking in the reception area despite being on 3rd level as window above bed backed into open staircase.
They turn the air-conditioning off in middle of night (timed) so was wake in a sweat.
Other guests were complaining of mould in their rooms, Rude Tour guide booked through hotel, air-conditioner not working and being forgotten at airport (transfer not arriving).
Free transfer had a fee attached, undisclosed until you paid.
Lift very slow.
Hole in the shower made me feel very uneasy.
Blind over window also fell off and nearly on me whilst sleeping as wooden frame was glued to the wall amd not installed properly. Very disappointing stay and would not recommend. Disappointed its even listed on this site and unsure why it has such high reviews.

Positive points: Loved the service and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast buffet was ok. But other than that very happy with everything!!!

Negative points: Nothing in particular. Very good value for money. The space is a bit tight but the city is crowded so that’s fair.

Review: We were upgrade to the room with balcony and we really have a good stay there for 4 nights. Variety of the breakfast is not much but just enough for us and the breakfast is good.

Positive points: Breakfast was chaos we had to collect cups plates out of S.A. washing basket on a table that should have been for guests dining room was dirty not enough staff had 1 breakfast in our 5day stay never went back

Positive points: This hotel would have received a 7 score if it were not for the exceptional front desk staff. They are well trained, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I did not get their names but will post when we get back there next week. The hotel staff kindly kept our larger bags as we went to Halong Bay. Genuinely helpful and they know customer service.

The beds and rooms are extremely comfortable. The Cleaning staff were always willing and helpful. They do their work well. Our appreciation to them.

Negative points: Toilets do clogg a lot. The breakfast area is way below par. The carpet is dirty the tables are not properly cleaned and it is an unappealing and unappetising experience. Management must do something here.

5.0 Do not use the Spa - Francesco 14-01-2025

Positive points: The receptionist was extremely nice and helpful. The position is good to explore and easily reachable.

Negative points: The room was on the fifth floor. It was quite old and smelled of smoke. We had been told we had a room with a beautiful view, but the view was on the building in front of us, with a bit of city skyline on the side.

We had a tragic experience with the spa. We booked three different massages (one for each of us) at the spa and we got placed all in the same room, with very cold AC, with the three spa ladies louding talking the whole time. It was impossible to relax. We also asked to lower the AC but we have been told that it wasn’t possible or it would have been too hot. Also comparing massages we had the feeling that all three of us got the same mediocre massage although we book a vietnamese, a shiatsu and a relaxing massage. One of the ladies was also extremely unprofessional and touchy (she grab my earrings, was counting the tattooes on my body and touched my head commenting on my hair, and she left in the middle of the massage to go to the toilet). When we left, they waited for us outside the door asking explicitly for a tip. We gave them 30,000 dong but actually they did not deserve even those.
