Hanoi Morning Hotel.

Review: We are two friends travelling
Room is really small, no space for clothes just some clothes hangers on a rack really high up, impossible for short people. Elevator goes up to 8th floor - Suite is on 9th and the "restaurant" with breakfast in 10th.
Water damage marks on the wall, really old deposits of dust on bathroom hinges, and on the hangers for the toilet cleaner/"bum hose", is some unspecified brown guck... The plain horror of what it might be!!
Mold in the shower, in corner and in cracks in the tiles. Really old grubby and dirty wall-to-wall carpet with black spots and some kind of perfume which probably is applied to conceal old dirty smell.
Also it is a room without 1 double bed and 1 queen bed as is advertised on Agodas Swedish site.
And the bed is hard as rock.
Totally overpriced rip-off and they have not offered to exchange for another room (like with better beds) or to reimburse some of the money.
They have tried to better the bed but that is all, regarding the standard of the room.
They have put a warmer in the room, but the room is so small so it seems dangerous using it

Positive points: Location is the best thing about this hotel. Close to the lake and easy to walk around most of the attractions of Hanoi.
Rooftop has an awesome view to the lake and breakfast is quite good. Staff are helpful and kind.

Review: The actual condition is looking jaded unappealing to some but if you are only looking for place to stay in a good location, that is your choice.

Positive points: The location of this hotel is fantastic. No more than 50m to the lake, which we strolled around most days. Our room was a reasonable size, except only tiny window, too high to see out of. Because of the lack of light, and the fact it was painted dark brown, made it even more dark. We did ask for a different room but at the time there was not one available. The staff , especially julie, was really helpful when my husband was ill. Also with booking a trip to halong bay. Laundry service was good and competitive. Breakfast room has a great view over the lake and a reasonable selection. Fresh eggs and pho can be requested at the kitchen.

Positive points: Nice room, lovely staff especially the night receptionist. Excellent location very close to Hoan Kiem Lake, I can walk to Hoan Kiem Lake every morning. Delicious breakfast with a beautiful view on the 10th floor

Review: Staff super nice, polite, and very helpful. Good resources of the city. Quynh was courteous. She let us stored out luggage for a whole day long while we are waiting for our bus to Sapa. The kitchen staff were very nice to us. Food was good and plenty. Overall a good stay. Thank you.

Positive points: Staffs were extremely friendly and helpful to make our stressful entry into the city much more manageable. It was also very centrally located. Breakfast was certainly aplenty for our preference and really enjoyed the rooftop area.

Positive points: Foto rooms vs reality. Foto very nice, reality not. Somebody made this foto 10 years ago. Everything is too old. The same price have really great hotel.

Review: The location is good but the hotel is a little bit old. You have to walk to the roof to have breakfast.

Review: Receptionist insisted we pay 200k VND for each room just because we reached back hotel at 1pm and came down at 1.10pm. This is off peak period and we didn't have any issues with other hotels.

Positive points: we made a reservation with a superior room there . The reception informed us about our room and breakfast before checking in. Everything was explained. Staffs was so friendly and helpful. Mrs. Juli help us Ha Giang and Halong bay .great tours we enjoyed. Highly recomended to all coming to them.NO ANY COMPLAINED !
