Positive points: The staff were friendly and let us check in at 3 am after a long travel day. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable.

Positive points: The staff are very helpful and friendly. The beds are comfortable. The location is great. The room was clean. There was an issue with a leaking hose to the hot water tank but staff took care of it right away.

Negative points: The church bells early in the morning.

Positive points: The staff was amazing. The lady during the day was super kind and helpful! She booked us a day tour that was very good!
The location is also perfect, being central to many, many things in the Old Quarter.

Negative points: When we first got there we were told our room was not ready, so they put us in a larger, "luxurious" room with 2 large Queen Beds, a bathtub and window facing the street.
The next night we were told we could stay there but pay extra, we opted to our original room. Not a good choice because the room was very dirty, the shower had no curtain so water got everywhere, the tiles were cracked and the shower head was nasty caked with Grime and dirty from a long time of not being properly cleaned. The mirror and cups looked to have maybe got a quick rinse down but not cleaned.

We ended up paying more for a bigger room because it was not worth loosing the money to stay elsewhere. This room was better with one of the only spots in the hotel with working wifi or service, but through our 5 more days staying there, the beds were only made but not changed so there was constantly dirt on the bedding and in the sheets, and the floors were never cleaned through our stay.
It also doesn't help that our AC broke the first night in the upgraded room, luckily it wasn't too hot and a fan worked. And by that point we felt like there were too many other issues that we mentioned at the beginning that this issue didn't feel comfortable mentioning.

All in all, nice staff, but the rooms and building need an upgrade and a deep clean very badly.

8.4 Small rooms but does the job - Revanth 21-10-2024

Review: It was very easy for us to locate the room while arriving from airport.

There were couple of people who work there that could speak English, with others we had to use translators which is totally normal.

They even suggested good restaurants and cafés for us to eat at.

Room and washroom is small but since we spent most of the time outside and we went to the room only to sleep and take bath, we were able to manage.

You could find eateries, winmart within 100metre radius.
All the attractions in old quarter were within 1.5km radius too so we covered every place by walk itself

4.0 We booked based on location and price. We also booked a room with balcony, but didn’t get one. We complained and moved - Sarah 17-11-2024

Positive points: Location and price

Negative points: The feel of it … from the reception area and beyond. The bathroom was old and dated, room not as described, (we booked a room with a balcony, and when we pointed out that there was no balcony, we were told that the view of another hotel balcony across the street was what they offered!?), hmmm. The decor was drab… front desk staff were working through google translate, all very friendly but not what we had in mind from reviews …. Deceptive pictures and descriptions online ….. I paid in full for 3 nights and was rebated for 2 nights on departure.

Positive points: I had a a wonderful stay at this hotel in the center of Hanoi. The location is excellent, close to all major tourist spots, which made exploring the city very convenient. the room and hotel overall were comfortable and well-maintained, offering good value for the price.
One standout was the service. Ms Nga at the reception was incredibly helpful and friendly she made sure I had everything I needed and truly went out of her way to make my stay enjoyable. I genuinely appreciate her kindness and dedication.
I look forward to staying here again on my next trip to Hanoi!

Review: Pros - Great location with lots nearby in terms of food and attractions. Has a lift.

Cons - the door has a window above it to the lift/hallway area which made the room very bright at night making it hard to sleep. Being a light sleeper the ding of the lift old be heard clearly overnight

Positive points: The staff are really wonderful people - they are attentive, responsive and welcoming. The boutique hotel is a typical shophouse which is common throught the region. Clean and comfortable in a great location
