Review: Great hotel and staff but noise from room doors slamming continuously between 7am and 10.30 am - as guest go to and from breakfast disturbs sleep. Rooms with windows don’t have blackout curtains or blinds => light awakens you at dawn. Rooms with ice- making mini fridges - switch on and off noisily throughout the night. Room 510 also in vicinity of barking dog - from a neighbouring building.
All in all a shame because the hotel itself and the staff tick a lot of boxes.

Review: The hotel was one of the major reason why our trip was such a memorable o e. It’s in the middle of everything, walkable to all the major attractions and shops in the area. Grab can easily get there because the proximity to the freeway, and 2 minutes walk to the lake.
The hotel facilities were way above what the pictures show. The rooms were really well thought out and extremely comfortable beds.
However the best thing out of all is the amazingly helpful and courteous staff. Quyn was so helpful and such an amazing host. My dad, mom and my kid all loved the hotel because of the hospitality and over the top helpfulness from the staff at the hotel. They really took care of you as a family. I would highly highly recommend lthe hotel to any type of traveller

Positive points: Very nice room, and hotel facilities. The SPA downstair is good, relaxing and well kept. I didn't use the pool but it looked nice. The rooms are spacious and also the bathrooms. The furniture is well kept and the staff is always helpful.

Review: Location and morning buffet are good.
Regrettably, many items in the room were used or not in good condition. For example, there was some handwriting on a map, a leaflet was teared and instant coffee pack was opened. That means cleaning room was not sufficient.
The towels and bedding had odd smell.
Nonetheless, it’s reasonable price for the location and the morning buffet is very tasty.

Positive points: Me and my two friends (24 yrs) stayed at La Siesta to treat ourselves at the end of the trip. I had to fly home, but my two friends extended their stay!

I'll get to the location, and amenities, but I first want to mention the staff who were so kind, welcoming and friendly always. In particular Quynh and Freya on reception (who went above and beyond to assist with laundry and offer great local recommendations) and Tram at breakfast (who was very warm and attentive showing us around).

The hotel is well-loacted right next to the Hoàn Kiếm Lake and Old Quarter, we also loved the Réno Bar (speakeasy) a couple doors down.

The pool is so warm and tranquil - I loved the hanging vegetation. The rooftop bar was also a pleasant way to spend the evening. The room upgrade from internal to external window was a nice touch and we all slept extremely well in our separate rooms.

Nothing but good things to say about this place! I can't wait to come back to Hanoi and stay again.

Positive points: Lovely boutique hotel. Very comfortable, friendly staff and a fabulous heated pool. Great little roof top bar too
