Positive points: Nothing meet standards.

Negative points: The first night was unexpectedly downgraded to a smaller room without any prior notice. It seemed they were hoping I wouldn’t notice the change. When I inquired, the staff explained that the double-bed room I had booked was still occupied by another guest because they had lost their wallet. While I understand unforeseen circumstances can arise, the lack of advance communication was frustrating. It would have been more considerate to inform us earlier so we could have been prepared for the situation. Transparency and timely updates would have made a significant difference in how this was handled.

The staff suggested that I cancel my booking through Booking.com in order to receive a small discount, which would only amount to a few dollars in cash. This request felt inappropriate and unprofessional, as it seemed to bypass the proper booking system. It also raised concerns about transparency and fairness in their pricing and policies. This approach left me feeling uncomfortable and dissatisfied with how the situation was handled.

Bathroom smells.

Don’t book this hotel, very doggy.

Positive points: Great location in old quarter, not too noisy as off the main roads. Friendly staff gave us some breakfast to takeaway as we needed to checkout early.

Positive points: Small family owned/run hotel. Great location. They don't have a restaurant but the breakfast was included in the price, just a quick walk to a neighbouring hotel for breakfast. Staff were very helpful.

Negative points: Water seeping out of the shower from under the shower door onto the bathroom floor.

Review: Located in the heart of the old quarter, this hotel offers easy access to nearby tourist attractions. The cleanliness and tidiness of the hotel are impressive, but what truly stood out was the exceptional customer service provided by the staff. They go above and beyond their duties to ensure a remarkable experience. Additionally, you can book affordable tours through the hotel, with convenient pick-up directly from the premises. As a bonus, the breakfast buffet is excellent! I will definitely return here soon.

Positive points: Excellent location - lovely, helpful and super friendly staff! Bedroom was spacious and good bathroom. Very good quality price ratio.

Positive points: Great location. Affordable and comfortable. Clean. Rosie working a the front office was very friendly and helpful.

Negative points: A little bit noisy at night. But that's due to the location.
Have to walk to another hotel for breakfast. But was very close by and food was good.

Positive points: Comfortable bed decent view but we were sent to a different hotel on arrival.

Negative points: The hotel clearly made up a story about our room suddenly being unavailable and sent us to a different hotel nearby. It would be easier if they were just honest and said that you may stay elsewhere from the outset. The room we had wasn't bad but it wouldn't be ideal for an anxious traveller.

Positive points: This hotel is located in the perfect spot in Hanoi’s Old Quarter. My husband I highly recommend his hotel.

Negative points: Absolutely nothing.

Positive points: Amazing location, right of the historic district and the lake. Staff was very helpful and included all the need toiletries. They would rotate the room everyday which was nice! The morning breakfast was in a different hotel but the food and experience was good.

Positive points: Great location near the lake and easy walking distance into the busy Old Quarter, lots of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Room had everything we needed, bit noisy but that's Hanoi! The staff were very helpful asking if we were comfortable the next day. Breakfast is in an adjacent larger hotel, bit busy but a good choice of food buffet style.
