Labevie Hotel

Review: Had a very good experience in the Labevie Hotel. The staff, especially the guy on reception and the lady in the kitchen were very cooperative. They helped us a lot. Rooms are kept clean and tidy every day. Overall, a good hotel to stay in Hanoi's old quarter.

Positive points: Good quality and good price. Very friendly and helpfull personell. Our room got upgraded, which was nice! The breakfast tasted good but it wasn't a big selection. But we ate som much else during our stay in Hanoi so it didn't matter.

Review: Property is strategically located in Old Quarter area. The room & most importanly toilet is clean & spacious. Just a walking distance to HALAL restaurant.

Bus stop for BUS-86 (bound to International Airport) just opposite the hotel, very convenience for travellers.

I like the room with balcony where we can view the local activities.

A bit noisy with people honking since the property is at the main road.

Positive points: The location was perfect along with the staff. David and Nisa in the front desk were super helpful, friendly and always ready to help with anything from domestic air tickets to day tours. They even made breakfast early for us so that we could leave for our tour at 7:45am. The rooms were clean and tidy. The smile on the faces of the staff made us feel welcomed and comfortable. We will surely recommend the hotel to our friends and family for sure..

Review: I’ve been booking rooms in Hanoi for the past seven years, and I like the Hoan Kiem Lake district best of all. I took a room at Labevie because it was a last-minute booking, and the special deal was impossible to resist (I was flying into Hanoi from Barcelona, and a change of plans demanded an overnight stay). Of course, the price was ridiculously fair. But the quaint hospitality, the location (a true Hanoi street, chock full of local restaurants and local bustle—shade trees…) was a splendid bonus. I’ll stay here again. And I advise you to consider it, especially if price factors into your equation. Clean, comfortable—and so downhome (English spoken).

Review: This hotel is horrible and filthy.Firstly when I arrived there's no one in the reception matter of fact most of the time the reception is empty.So I waited in the lobby for 15 minutes only to be greeted by "is it for check out"? When I informed I'm checking in and I handed over my passport,they didn't even bother to take a look at it . They asked me for my name and addressed me by a different name and told me my booking is cancelled.This worst check in I've ever experienced.It took them 1 hour to figure my booking only to be given a room that I didn't book.I booked a deluxe with outdoor They was no view at all the Room felt claustrophobic so I informed them this is not the room I've booked.We went back to the reception and the reception informed me that there is another room on the 5th floor with a view that's being clean,So I waited One more hour only to be given another filthy room covered in mold, broken switch,bathroom stinking like sewage and no view . Moreover, housekeeping didn't make my room but they had the audacity to enter my room to switch off the AC and lights when I was outside.The explanation I was given for not having a view was that the neighbours built a building so the view is gone..Avoid this hotel as if your life depends on it.I couldn't stand even taking a shower in that room.This Hotel doesn't even deserve a 1 star.This was the worst horrible 2 nights.This hotel was my last stop on my vacation and it was bad,ruined it.Additionally,as a solo female traveler, this hotel made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe.I had a tour ,they sent the tour guide directly to my room instead of informing me themselves!

Positive points: My friends and I stayed here for 5 nights and we had a great experience. What made our stay delightful is the staff. Everyone was very polite and friendly! We were in Hanoi during the Tet holiday and the hotel was short on staff, but the remaining staff were still diligent enough in taking care of the guests. During our last day, while my friend is sick, they were very considerate with our check out time, and we really appreciated it.

Review: A few minutes walk from the busier area of old quarter. About 1min walk from #86 bus stop. Actual and photos are not entirely the same. They probably posted much older photos of the rooms

Positive points: The room is cozy, clean and comfortable, close to the center so we can move easily, the breakfast is delicious and the staff is very enthusiastic and attentive.

Review: I chose this hotel for a night stay to catch the morning 6.30am bus to Sapa. It is located just a 5min walk to the Sapa bus pick up point. This hotel is also just a 5min walk from the bus stop (airport bus #86) which we took from the international airport terminal 2. As for the hotel, the room is not as pretty as the photos listed on Agoda. The furnishings were rather old and poorly maintained. Overall, we would try another hotel the next time we return.
