Review: The rooms are bit old fashioned and cramped. Washroom space is not much.
Positive points: Good location near to the old town. Good sized room. Breakfast included.
Negative points: Noisy road.

Positive points: Breakfast buffet was great and behaviour of the staff was exceptional. Very good location
Negative points: Wifi connectivity was weak and room was a little cramped. We had booked a room with double bed but got one with one double bed and a single bed.
Review: I booked a week-long stay and paid in advance, but I couldn’t continue and decided to leave without a refund to switch hotels. The room was extremely small, like a box, with no space, no window, and no proper desk for working. I couldn’t even charge my laptop. It’s a family-run business, and the mornings were noisy due to children. Additionally, the receptionist was extremely rude and unprofessional. Overall, it was a terrible experience.

Negative points: No passion, moist sheets and run down.
Review:
Breakfast is 7-930 but if you come down 9am, the buffet trays are already empty and they dont refill it, they will just allow you to order 1 item from their menu, either pho, pancake, 2sunny side up, sandwich or omelette. Only 1 item with would not be enough for a breakfast.
If you leave the room with your electric power on like aircon, they threat to fine you VND2,000,000 because you are wasting electricity, that’s what their staff said. So when nobody is in the room, you should pull out your room card.
Negative points: There was a lot of noise during the night, it seemed some kind of motor coming on and off in the most abrupt and loud of ways that prevented me from sleeping until late at night. The staff in the reception refused to take my money because one of the banknotes had the tiniest of dents and made a scene about it. There was close to no English.
Review:
So the word Palace is very misleading so is the type of room double suite! Location was it is superbly located close to Hanoi Train station and Turtle Tower Lake and the area is bustling with locals and traveller's. However the hotel cleanliness is fairly limited. In their own language it's " low capital hotel" where a guest complained about lizard in the room.
The key staff needs some training for handling difficult situation more appropriately and keep their calm.
Location and decent breakfast are the high points rest every thing goes downhill.
Positive points: Great location, very nice breakfast and super comfortable beds. The staff was also very kind and helpful even though it was a bit hard to communicate
Negative points: Not super clean but very good value for money. Even though it was all a bit old everything was working perfectly

When I came in I had no local currency the staff let me barrow money.
Negative points: Hotel is extremely dated, there were stains on the bed sheets like somebody walked on them and hair as well. Also no shower curtain and the faucet sprayed water, worst of all the door does not luck be careful with your valuables
Review: Amazing stay experience. Very good location. Cordial staff. Superb breakfast. Very good experience. And for fellow Indians, Red chillies restaurant is nearby which serves good Indian food.

The room was tired and needed fresh paint and a deep clean.

The images on the website are nothing as per the actual rooms. The hotel has a small restaurant in the hotel lobby itself. The breakfast is limited with only cut fruits & cereal laid on a buffet. The washbasin in the room was cracked & the AC did not function well.
better options available in Hanoi Old Quater Area at the same price.

Not at all a hotel. Zero service with no co operation from the staff. They dont even have basic manners.
Do avoid. And find a better option
Positive points: Good location, in a not very nice street though (hospital and lot for trash bins in front)
Negative points:
- coockraches in the kitchen during night
- old building, needs refurbishment and cleaning
- humidity on walls, room smelled.
- Photos do not fit reality
- the charged me the night despite not staying for all these reasons given
