Positive points: We thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Kolor Home Old Quarter. It offers great value for money, with comfortable beds ensuring a restful night's sleep. The location is fantastic, situated near popular tourist spots and providing easy access to explore the area. Despite being centrally located, the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, allowing for a relaxing escape from the city's hustle and bustle. The owner and staff are easy to communicate with and very helpful, enhancing the overall experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Old Quarter.
Negative points: Nothing at all, everything was excellent!
Positive points: It served its purpose close to the hoan kiem that was it.
Negative points: The whole apartment had only one small window, it was damp and musty. One concerning thing it's in a dark alley that is locked after 9pm and if you need to go out have to lock and unlock yourself, dangerous if there was a fire
Positive points: Tastefully furnished with all amenities. The owner arranged for baggage storage and late check in as we were on an excursion.
Negative points: Inside an blind alley. There are rooms all around. The gate is closed at 9.30pm.
Positive points: Location was perfect. Just out of bustling old quarter but close enough to walk everywhere. Quiet and private. Good facilities. Comfy beds. Appreciated the adapter plug, fridge, washing machine.
Positive points: Property was exactly as it is in the pictures was very comfortable the owner was very helpful arranging taxis to airport and back super nice lady kept in contact to make sure everything was ok
Negative points: Maybe due to the rain or for some reason there was a lot of cockroaches that was the only issue I had I told the owner and she immediately offered to come out and rectify it
Review: Office working area environment. Not as many food choices as compared to other areas that I have stayed. Cleanliness is reasonable. Good size room with 2 big beds and 1 sofa bed in the living area.
Positive points: The owner was very hands on and she really entertained and answer all of my inquiries even before the day of our check in until check out. The place is really budget friendly and is good place to stay for groups and family.
Negative points: I think the washing machine needs to be checked already.

-washer in unit was helpful
Negative points:
-it is inside a compound that gets locked at night and there’s about 3 different steps you have to do to unlock the main gate (input numerical code for locker for key, then use key to unlock gate from the other side) , and you have to do it in the dark to be able to get out so it could be a fire hazard or any hazard in case of an emergency.
-the room we stayed at on the first floor smelled strongly of moth balls / naphthalene and caused allergies for us. The smell even stuck to our clothes and towels when we were already home
-no any kind of ventilation in our room :(

Positive points: Great location in short walking distance to everything in the Old Quarter, but also isolated from street noise. The bed was very comfortable and the host provided everything I needed. The laundry machine was very useful!
Negative points: The only issue is outside their control, and temporary: construction noise during the day from the adjacent building.. It didn't bother me since I was out during the day.

Positive points: Excellent location, super friendly host and very well equipped apartment (with kitchen and washing machine). lots of good restaurants, shops and bars nearby

Quite a comfortable home stay for 4 in Hanoi just outside of Old Town. Bit weird at 1st going down an alley to find it, but the staff were great & it was cheap.
Felt like a local 😉
