Negative points: Beds were a little bit too hard for our taste.

Negative points: The room is not what it looks on the pictures. As others have already reported the walls are not orange, but rather very pale peach colour. And we did not have the nice looking green tiles bathroom as it was on the pictures, but a different very basic one. The balcony is not a balcony, it’s a window with a fence. It is a shame that the accommodation is presented untruthfully. Honesty would be better as it overall looks really good and would still attract guests. But to me this left a bad taste.

Negative points: The bathroom is basically a shower wet room which makes it hard to keep it clean. Like all accommodation in Hanoi, they only provide 1 pillow and towel each, which to my western mind is not enough. There's no kitchenette in the 3rd floor appt.
It's confusing paying in cash, especially because while travelling we had paid for everywhere else in advance and initally we weren't sure if we were being asked to double pay! We weren't, but it just caught us off guard when we arrived.
We had been using Hanoi as a base for travelling around north vietnam, and the other times we had staying in the Old Quarter, and I would definitely suggest the old quarter for short stays in Hanoi. This apartment is in the French Qaurter, which isn't as nice or romantic as I had imagined. It's no mini-Paris, which is fair enough but it meant staying further away from the hustle and bustle of the Old Quarter may not have been worth it. It's still only about a 15min walk to the old quarter with all the restaurants and shops, which isn't far until you're doing it in 90% humidity!

Negative points: Honestly we wanted to move after the first night because it really wasnt what we expected
1. The walls are not yellow like the picture its cream. It really made the room less appealing in real life
2. This is definitely more of a homestay than a hotel which i wasnt expecting because it wasnt written on the name on booking.com
3. The duvet cover had no filling we had to take it from the cupboard ourselves and fill it in + there were only 2 pillows and had to ask for extra which we did get
4. There was no bin and tissues in the room had to request
5. Its in an alley so no view from the balcony but really nice that theres good lighting

Overall i think if i was looking for a long term homestay ensuite this could do but not for a holiday spot where u wanna treat yourself

Negative points: No staff who came to assist and check us during our stay.
