Review: The hotel changed its name. Agoda charged me online. The hotel management at reception charged me again saying that Agoda will refund me. This did not happen and I’m left with financial loss.

Review: My friend booked this hotel for me. I wanted a bathtub and my friend even emailed the hotel in advance to make sure the room has a bathtub. We received confirmation from the hotel manager. I arrived late at night and all I wanted was to take a bath then rest. They did provide me a room with a bathtub except the tub had no plug to keep water in. To make it worse, the lamp didn’t work and the celling lights kept flashing. Not to mention the room was smaller and different with Agoda photos. It looked like they didn’t check the room’s conditions beforehand.

I informed the reception night shift, he took notes. I expected he would hand over to the morning after staff but he didn’t. Therefore the next morning I had to complain all over.

I did not receive any apologies from anyone. I then called Agoda and told them I wanted to move out and get refund for other two nights I have paid. Eventually the hotel manager agreed to refund, thanks to Agoda’s support. I moved out immediately.

Review: We have booked the room based at Hai Ba Trung road, which is nearer to Old Quarters. We booked the hotel a day before and check in late at 7pm. We were shocked to be informed our booking has changed to another Le Nid hotel located at Tr. Vuong road, which is 10 minutes walk from current hotel. Reason being Hai Ba Trung has fully booked according to our unit type, and transfer us to same room size at Tr. Vuong road. We were hungry and tired after whole day activity and this was bad experience without informing us. Agoda needs to do something with this on booking policy. End up its longer walk to Old Quarter for us for the 2 days. They paid the cab to send us to another hotel will not be enough to compensate the loss in value. No discount on room rate for less prime location?
