JA COSMO HOTEL & SPA

Review: Like others said the photos are from when the hotel was new when I mentioned this to staff I was told “sometimes what you see is different to what you get” the rooms smell of mould, the beds are very hard, mouldy shower curtains rusty shower curtain rods. Broken tiles with large holes in them mould in tiles grout. Common areas are very dirty. Only one elevator that broken down at one point. The list goes on. The staff were friendly which is the only positive I can give. We checked out a day early which was non refundable

Positive points: The property is beautiful and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was great! From the time I walked in, they took care of my every need. The room was comfortable and spacious. The spa services were great and I was able to wind down after a long flight.

Review: Overall location is good, plenty of food options nearby.
Old hotel, dusty flooring felt uncomfortable when walking with bear foot, luckily slipper was provided. Bed and pillow was just right for me. Receptionist was lovely. Breakfast is average.

Positive points: The location is great, the staff is unbelievably helpful ☺️ For sure we will come back to Hanoi and stay here again.

Positive points: This is a lovely hotel in a nice part of the city. Clean and well kept. I was only here for one night but the staff here were 5 star — it felt like they were a real team and they showed a real personal touch. They even arranged a taxi to the airport which was a better price than grab and the driver was the most pleasant and professional I had experienced in all of Hanoi 😊

My only regret was that I didn’t stay longer.

Positive points: The room had a window to the street, which was very hard to find it in other hotels.

Review: There’s a lot of hotels in Old Quarter but I chose to stay at Ja Cosmo for 3 nights because it is located in an uncrowded street and only 5-min walk to Hoan Kiem Lake and to quaint restaurants and coffee shops. Rates are reasonable compare to nearby hotels and for the size of their rooms. Easy to book a Grab too to tour the city.

We checked in early at 10am and paid a little extra but it OK as we were able to rest and relax after our early morning flight.

Our room for 4 pax is 60 sq m. There are sofas aside from 2 king size beds and the bathroom and toilet is spacious too. Air-con is working well and easily cools the whole room.
The staff (from reception to housekeeping) are nice and accommodating. We felt their warmth and dedication in accommodating their guests from check-in to check-out. Sophia from the reception is pleasant.

The breakfast has a decent selection.
We loved their pho noodles and the fruits they served daily. I will recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a reasonably-priced and convenient place to stay in Old Quarter that is safe and not too loud and crowded.

Review: Checked in to be told our requested room had a broken air-conditioning unit. "Upgraded to a better room", room was noisy, housekeeping used our floor as a storage area so had to manoeuvre around trolleys each time we left the room.

Review: We stayed at Ja Cosmo Hotel for four nights. While the property isn't brand new, it's well-maintained. The rooms were large and spacious, with a good level of cleanliness, although the shower curtain could use some cleaning or replacement due to some dirt at the bottom. The reception staff provided exceptional service and were very attentive, quickly arranging everything we requested. However, I want to point out that on the day we arrived, we had a foot massage, and the therapists were laughing and talking throughout the session, which felt unprofessional. At the end, they repeatedly asked for tips, making us uncomfortable. This behavior isn't fitting for the hotel's reputation. Other than that, our stay was very pleasant, and we felt it was good value for money.

Positive points: Breakfast was good, the bed in the room was, comfortable, I like the staffs here very much especially Andrew, David, Michael, and Henry. I definitely will come back this hotel for my next trip in Vietnam
