Review: Picture of the ‘deluxe room’ which seems to have two windows actually has zero. Window in the corner opens into the hallway - very strange. When we told the receptionist this and asked if there was any rooms with an actual window as my partner has asma she was very unhelpful. Not sure anything about the room is ‘deluxe’.

Review:
I had a great stay at Hanoi Brilliant Hotel and Spa. The location is very strategic—close to the church, restaurants, and shopping areas, making it easy to explore the city. The price is also very reasonable for the quality provided.

The room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed and complete amenities. The staff was friendly and always ready to help. Check-in and check-out were smooth.

The only minor issue was the towels, which was smells not good. But overall, it was a fantastic stay.

Positive points: Great breakfast, eggs and small pancakes made to order plus everything else displayed. Staff awesome, took time to explain everything and so helpful. Location perfect, short walk to everything.

Negative points: Most streets very hard to walk on as all sidewalks blocked by hundreds of scooters and mini food activities.

Positive points: Location is amazing. Probably the best area to stay in Hanoi.

Negative points: I feel cheated. Hotel doesn’t look at all like on photos presented at booking.com. Additionally lobby was in renovation so you are basically living on a construction site full of dust. After entering site you are surrounded by scaffolding so I guess you need to be extra careful to not get anything dropped on your head. There was no information about this renovation when we made a booking. I wouldn’t book this hotel if I knew it. We didn’t want to move anywhere else as it was our last 2 nights in Vietnam and we just wanted to rest after long and intense travel so we decided to stay here.
After seeing all this we asked for a discount for a second night but response was: „no, because manager will be unhappy”. I guess leadership satisfaction is more important here than customer satisfaction.
Restaurant as well was completely different than on photos. It definitely requires renovation and cleaning. Toster was very dirty like not cleaned in the last 5 years. Bread was hard like a stone. We usually came for a breakfast around 9:00-9:30 so I guess few peaces of bread were just lying down there in a basket and drying since 6:30. Food was not tasty at all. We ended up eating only 2 fried eggs / omelette and few fruits. These were the only foods where nothing could go wrong.
We stayed in 2 different rooms. One didn’t have window. Second room had window but it was premium room and we had to pay more for it. Walls very super thin. You are able to hear people breathing on the corridor or people talking in other rooms.
Housekeeping did a lot of noise on the corridor since 8:00. It felt like there was a group of 10 ladies having party, talking very laudly, laughing, etc rather than housekeeping in 4 star hotel.
SPA experience was good. I had a massage and hair oil therapy. I was happy with the service and I gave good rating and tip for it but facility requires improvement.

Review: Staff were amazing. I didn’t like the tiny rooms and bathroom. The water pressure in shower could use some more work. It’s very low. Also there was a mix up of type of room at midnight when I was checkin. That situation could have been handled in a different way.

Negative points: To be sold a SIM card and advised it was for a month for it only to be a weeks worth of data. Expensive purchase for a 3 day stay. Nothing worse than being scammed by your hotel.

Positive points: The hotel offers a good location. In the old town but still in a quite area.

Negative points: Our room was a room with windows to the corridor and for similar price probably it is possible to find a better option. Also we tried to book a tour with the hotel staff, that assure us that will take care of it but they never did it... We end up to book the tour by ourselves but we had to do it in a rush...

Negative points: The hairdryer easily overheats and stops functioning, causing long-haired women unable to dry their hair.The room rate does not correspond to the hardware facilities provided.

Review: Score 2/5. The photos are fake and it does not look at all like what you see online. They were doing some renovations in the hotel and didn't even bother informing us prior to our arrival about the noise and troubles. Furthermore the hotel is labeled a 4 star on Agoda and Booking but its actually a 3 star on Google. Do yourself a favor, go to the Hotel du Lac that is just across the street. That one is a nice hotel.

Positive points: The staff is amazing, on reception you can expect kindness and warm all the time.
Eira even gifted us Vietnamese snacks before going to the airport on a super late night when all was closed and our opportunities to have dinner were 0. Every night they put chocolate coins and good wishes for the day. Really, what an amazing staff. Congrats, it is the gem of the hotel.

Review: Would happily stay here again next time in Hanoi. Staff were friendly and helpful the hotel is in a prime location. Wish I was staying here more than one night.
