Champton Hanoi Hotel

Review: Really is a 4 star hotel . Good location about 1 km from lake. Plenty of Restaurants nearby in walking distance. Helpfully staff and most understand English. Great breakfast variety with friendly staff. Will stay there again.

Review: Great location! Lovely staff! The pool deck was under renovation doing our stay, so it was unfortunately closed off.. which was a shame as it was one of the reasons we booked this hotel after.

Review: Stayed for 2 nights at this hotel for group of 7 people. Location is just next to Old quarters with walking distance access to all the food and shopping areas in vibrant city of Hanoi.
Hotel staff has been extremely helpful and special appreciations for receptionist Lily who helped us to provide guidance on specific visit areas of our interest as well as helping us arranging for early breakfast due to early morning flights.
Definitely recommended!!

Review: Nice room- clean and pretty quiet. Loved the rooftop swimming pool. Staff was lovely. Sauna was under maintenance but there were massage shops next door so it worked out.

Location:
The hotel boasts a fantastic location in the heart of Hanoi, just a short walk from popular attractions like the Hoan Kiem Lake, the Old Quarter, and the Temple of Literature. It’s an excellent base for exploring the city’s vibrant culture and history.

Staff:
The staff at The Light Hotel were exceptional. They were always friendly, attentive, and eager to help with any requests. From arranging tours to providing restaurant recommendations, their service added great value to my stay.

Rooms:
While the rooms were clean and modern, they were a bit on the smaller side. If you’re traveling with large luggage or prefer more space, this might feel a bit restrictive. However, the comfortable beds and thoughtful amenities, such as a minibar and complimentary bottled water, made up for the compact size.

Dining:
The breakfast buffet offered a decent variety of both Vietnamese and international options. The food was fresh and satisfying, and the dining area had a cozy ambiance.

Overall:
The Light Hotel is an excellent choice for travelers seeking a convenient and welcoming place to stay in Hanoi. While the rooms are not very spacious, the helpful staff and prime location make it a great option for exploring the city.

Would I stay here again? Definitely, especially for short visits or if you plan to spend most of your time exploring Hanoi’s attractions!

Review: We were totally blown away with the staff at The Light Hotel. They were super friendly, polite, and always greet you with a wonderful smile. Lily and her front desk team were extremely helpful and helped us coordinate the pick up from the airport to the hotel even though we were 4 hours late. The door greeters, bartenders, maids and everyone that worked in the breakfast room were super nice and amazing! The breakfast was superb and exceeded our expectations. Their pho and different daily soup , ie. bun rieu were so delicious. They have omelette and egg station and even served eggs Benedict! We had stayed at the Silk Path hotel a year ago, which was located nearby, and although their rooms were comparable, breakfast and staff were better at this hotel. Happy hour is 5-7 where cocktails are half off so take advantage of that since it’s really a good deal. The bartenders were so nice!! The hotel has a nice pool on the rooftop but we didn’t swim in it. Overall, we will definitely come back to this hotel every time we’re in Hanoi Many thanks for making our trip pleasant and comfortable. We highly recommend The Light Hotel!

Review: The hotel is located right next to everything from shopping, sightseeing and bar street. The staff are brilliant they are very helpful and nothing is a problem. They offer late check out which was very useful as I had a late flight. I would highly recommend this hotel and it was good value for money.
