Review: Excellent Stay in Overall

Positive points: Very friendly and helpful reception and the room was clean.

Review: The staff was very helpful and amazing, Always kind and 24/7 on service. I was in a hurry when checking in and just dropped our luggage and left the hotel and after 50 meter I lost the card for the hotel room. I contact them and they told me not to worry. Luckily the card was found from nearby neighbour and was returned to the reception. The location is top, because it is in the old quarter, but In one small street which makes it quiet. If you are in the main street it would be very noisy and hard for sleeping. You should carry your luggage 20 meter but that's not a problem if you want to have normal sleep. The rooms are good equipped, tidy and clean. Towels were changed every day. There was a window which shows the wall of the other building but was enough to have some day light. For a 3 star hotel is perfect to stay and enjoy the sightseeing as everything is close. The lake with the turtle is 9 min by walk, the original egg coffee is 14 min, nite cafe is 8 minutes away, train street is 10 minutes away. The St Joseph cathedral is just behind the corner and the opera house is also close. And if you are hungry the streets are full of different street foods offers and souvenirs stores. Highly recommend the hotel, everything we need was included.

Positive points: My room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. I booked a city tour and a cooking class through the hotel, both of which were fantastic. Breakfast at the restaurant was excellent, and I enjoyed every meal there. I hope to return one day!

Review: Tried to scam and say they had an electric issue and send us to another hotel. Declined and went elsewhere. Reviews are clearly fake and do not represent reality.

Positive points: I've traveled to many places, and as a solo traveler, I always look for comfort, safety, and a welcoming atmosphere. This hotel truly exceeded my expectations. Its location on the edge of Hanoi’s Old Quarter is perfect—quiet but still close to shops and cafes.

From check-in, the staff went above and beyond, even reaching out via WhatsApp to share recommendations and check in on us during our stay. The room was great, and the service was outstanding.

Review: Very big room with good prices at the time I book it. Noise-cancellation is good. Clean. Stuff is okay

Positive points: I took the room with the balcony. The room is very big, there’re 2 double beds and also the toilette has a big shower. The cleanliness is excellent, every day clean towels. The location is great in the old quarter but in a quiet street.
Finally, the staff is very kind, especially Jacob who helped me to plan the tour for next destination.

Review: 저희 가족은 숙소에서 잠만 자는 스타일이고 중간에 한두번씩 짐때문에 잠깐 가기 때문에 위치를 중요하게 보는 편이에요, 올드타운은 대부분 오래됐을텐데 최근에 레노베이션 했다고 되어 있어서 예약했습니다.

일단 위치는 성당에서 2분 정도 위치다 보니 주변에 맛집이 많아요~

숙소 자체적으로는 레노베이션이 부분적으로 계속 진행중인것 같은데 저희 가족이 묶었던 방이 아직 레노베이션이 완료 안된곳인지 잘못 걸린건지 모르겠지만, 사진과는 너~~~무 다르고 어둡고 매우 오래된 느낌 물씬 풍기는 방이였어요. 창문은 지저분해서 만지기도 쉽지 않고 환기 때문에 잠깐 열어볼까 싶었지만 창문밖에 뭐가 잔뜩 쌓여있는지, 막혀있어서 열리지도 않더라고요. 그래서 커튼이 계속 쳐져 있다보니, 안그래도 어두운 방이 더 어둡고 안좋아 보인것 같습니다.

그리고 에어컨은 덜덜거리면서 돌아가길래 오래된것 같아 바람 나오는곳 보니 먼지가 잔뜩 앉아 잇었는데 물티슈로 닦다가 포기 했어요. 바람도 시원하지 않고 덜덜 소리가 커서 자다 여러번 깼어요. (저희 가족 4명 모두 아무데서나 잘자는 스타일입니다)
화장실도 레노베이션 됐다기엔 너무 오래된것들 그대로에요~ 그나마 샤워기는 바꾼것이던데 수압이 약해서 씻는데 시간이 오래 걸렸습니다.

그런데 모든 직원분들이 매우 친절하세요. 나갔다 오면 침대로 깨끗하게 정리가 되어 있었고요.

레노베이션 했다고 해서 기대를 좀 해서 더 실망했나 싶어요. 그 부분에 대한 기대를 좀 내려놓으면 될것 같아요.위치와 직원들의 친절로 어느정도 커버됩니다.

Positive points: The hotel is in a great location, right in the city center, making it easy to explore nearby parks, museums, and shopping centers. Public transportation is also convenient, so getting to other attractions was a breeze.

Positive points: I can't wait to return. Thank you all for making our stay in Hanoi so memorable. Although it's my first time here, I already feel a sense of nostalgia as I leave, especially for the Astoria Hanoi Hotel & Travel and the kind, welcoming receptionists.
