Review: I have stayed at the Hanoi Capital Hotel several times: the location is excellent, on a quieter side street in the heart of Old Quarter the rooms are very clean the breakfast is good and the staff is very accommodating. The manager, Mr. Tu Vu, was particularly helpful in arranging travel to Sapa and Ninh Binh, even checking in on me occasionally to make sure things were going well. I would also like to give a shout out to Tai, the personable and helpful night desk clerk. Highly recommended.
Positive points: Strategic location, right next to St Joseph’s Cathedral. A lot of cafes, restaurants and shops within walking distance. Near the lake and places of interest. Friendly and helpful staff especially Ms Thuy who helped to arrange our transport to Ninh Binh and airport at a reasonable price. We stayed for 2 nights and would love to go back again. Highly recommended place.
Negative points: Shower tend to run hot and cold.
Review: This hotel was perfect for my solo trip. The location is excellent. Very central but out of the hustle and bustle of the old quarter. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Positive points:
The location is great as the hotel is in the old city beside the cathedral and a walking distance from the lake.
The staff are very friendly and helpful specially Tu Vu.
Tu Vu organized several tours, accommodation and transport on our behalf. He is always very friendly and very helpful.
The breakfast provided is a great start for the day. It’s a buffet with a great selection of fruits, vegetables etc.
The room is spacious and very clean.
Negative points: Everything was great.
Review:
My family had a good and relaxing stay here at Hanoi Capitol Premium Hotel. The location is near the famous Michelin Star restaurants and also famous Old Quarter landmarks.
Rooms are big especially their family executive suite. Mr. Tu was very helpful over all of our concerns and he even suggested good places to visit and good restaurants to try.
We enjoyed our quick vacation here in Hanoi Old Quarter. We'll definitely come back here.
Positive points:
Very centrally located, tucked behind the cathedral with lots of little cafes, bars and restaurants around, both tourist oriented and local. Good soundproofing so the room is pretty quiet. I had the top floor (8th) with a great view of the cathedral and got to hear part of a Christmas/advent mass from the balcony. With the balcony windows closed, there's very little noise from outside. It was a cold week when I was here, but the aircon system here had a heating function which was wonderful!
Comfortable bed, good shower, good wifi & tv. They serve a good breakfast downstairs in the mornings.
The staff here are lovely. This was my last night in Hanoi and a last minute booking after the nearby homestay (La Ava's Home) where I had been staying discovered an "overbooking" and told me I couldn't stay there for my last night. Mr Tu and his staff made me feel very welcome and arranged an early check in for me so that I wouldn't have to wait between checking out of one place and into another. Getting kicked out of somewhere isn't nice, however honest the mistake may or may not have been, but the kindness of the staff here made me feel much better and I'm glad I spent a night here.
The location is great, right in the middle of the old quarter, a few minutes walk from Hoan Kiem lake but if you walk in the opposite direction, you can quickly be out to less chaotic, more local feeling streets.
Would definitely come back here next time in Hanoi
Review: Very conveniently located at the heart of the Old Quarters just next to St Joseph's Cathedral. Room is extremely clean and spacious. Buffet breakfast is good and filling. Our already excellent experience was elevated by the hospitality shown by the staff, who when above and beyond in taking great care of us throughout our entire stay and made us feel right at home. Will definitely stay here again when we are next in Hanoi
Positive points:
Perfect location with all sights in easy reach
Lovely welcome from the friendly and super helpful hotel staff. Nice room with large comfortable bed,
Negative points: No negatives - everything was great!
Review: Moved to another hotel
Positive points:
Hanoï is a very busy city. The hotel is central (just behind the cathedral) yet it is quieter than the rest. The area has a very friendly vibe.
The hotel staff and owner Mr Tu were ever so available to our needs (retrieving our missing luggage, sorting a trip to Halong bay as well as finding us place to stay whenever we were back in Hanoi).
Negative points: Nothing
Review: We booked the hotel due to it's close location to Hoan Kiem lake and st.Joseph Church. They have good amenities and facility, overall a pleasant stay for the weekend. Would definitely be back.
Positive points:
Everything about this hotel was fabulous.
Location was amazing in the old quarters.
Great local food nearby. Lady across the road had amazing coffee. Clean, comfortable hotel.
Definitely recommend.
Review: The hotel is just 50m from St. Joseph Cathedral (heart of Old Quarter). The room is clean & staffs are friendly. Not many options for breakfast (included within room service) but that’s fine anyway. Overall: good 👍🏻
Positive points: Great location, very helpful staff, always friendly. Excellent breakfast.
Negative points: No Western teabags available, a very minor detail which shows how good the hotel is!
Review: My husband and I had a great couple of days at this hotel. Comfy beds, great location and wonderful staff. We had a lovely room with a balcony (we actually got a free upgrade on arrival). We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the hustle and bustle below. Would highly recommend. Excellent value for money.
Positive points:
Stayed one night on 25 Oct. Room & simple breakfast were okay. Staff were friendly & helpful.
Tony, the person I chatted with on WhatApp, was helpful before and after our stay. We had booked a driver from airport to hotel thru Tony.
When we forgot to pay for the driver at the hotel, we returned later after our trip to Sapa to pay for it. Tony had not pursued us for it and even offered a free transport to the airport from any hotel we will be staying.
Negative points: n.a
Review: Very convenient location. The front desk staff, Juleen is very polite and helpful.
Positive points: Excellent service, modern forniture, nice balcony, super shower and great position.
Negative points: None
Review: I would recommend this hotel again.
Positive points: Thuy, and her colleague, at reception, helped us through the whole stay with any questions we had. Good price quality and for old quarter, well located near the church. Fair breakfast.
Negative points: Coffee could better.
