Maichi Homestay Ha Long

Review: The apartment is clean, the area is convenient, but the downside is that the landlord is not reasonable. I booked for 2 days and had already paid on Agoda. When I arrived for check-in, everything was normal, but the next morning the staff informed me that the landlord said I only rented for 1 day. After a while talking on the phone, the landlord said that the price on Agoda was too cheap, and asked me to transfer more money. However, I calmly searched for the phone number on the Agoda payment bill they sent to my email. I contacted the customer service and had to wait for a while because Agoda is overseas. After a representative from customer service assisted me, I ultimately didn't have to pay extra. But it made for an unpleasant morning and I was about to miss the day tour to Ha Long Bay. The landlord needs to review how they set their prices to avoid affecting their guests' vacations. Anyone renting should call directly as it can be quite frustrating.

Review: Very reasonable for the price, clean and fragrant rooms. Some equipment didn't work well, but the Maichi Homestay team responded very enthusiastically and attentively. I will come back if I have the opportunity.
