Positive points: Fantastic boutique home stay! Super clean and convenient room. Very comfortable bed. Very friendly family hosts. Super helpful with information and motorbike rental. Convenient and good price (300 D) car transfer to Danang airport. Great location. Just minutes walk from walking street and river. Quiet side street.
Negative points: All was great!
Review: Friendly family run business. There were minor issues during check in but the staff were able to solve the issue almost immediately. They also provide transport services at a very fair price.
Positive points:
Great location. Walking distance to the old town.
Restaurants and the night market are 3-5 minutes on foot.
Positive points: The Lit Villa was a home away from home... The family-run villa was perfect for our 3 day stays where they cared for you like their family. They provided tour options, car options, bikes/cycles, and even medicine when required. I would highly recommend staying here. Choose the balcony option for the room. They upgraded us to a balcony when we asked for it so it was more pleasant.
Negative points: Nothing.. everything was good
Review: This hotel is accessible by car but is located in the old town, making it very convenient to walk around. The owner and staff are friendly. The room is a bit small. I stayed in a connecting room, but one side of the room has a door that is experiencing a malfunction. There is a clean swimming pool. The room has a Hội An vibe, making it easy to take beautiful photos.
Positive points: Great location. Close to night market and old town but not directly in it so less noisy, though it definitely can get loud. Hosted by a local family with 2 small kids who are very cute but can be very nosy!
Negative points: I had the option to be placed in another room upstairs instead of on the first floor near the indoor pool. That first floor room required going outside around the back of the house to access. You can’t do that from inside, which isn’t the best when it’s super dark and rainy. The upper floor room was good but directly facing the street. The window in the bathroom cannot actually close so the door needs to be shut when you sleep. There is a small balcony which is nice. Bathroom is relatively new and modern but the floor gets extremely wet and is unsafe to walk on, even with flip flops. The floor and whole toilet were actually all covered in water when I checked in. The bed is good but be warned - there are small tiny red ants that crawl everywhere. They will get on your suitcase, bed, desk, everywhere. I also did some laundry with them but double check - I was overcharged without warning. FYI if you pay by credit card upon arrival they will add 3%.
Review: So cleaning. Good place for stay. Place near hôi an ancient
Positive points: Warm welcome. Very friendly and helpful.
Negative points: No separation between shower and toilet.
Positive points: I liked everything, cleanliness, location, comfort and I felt like I was at home.
Positive points: We had the best stay at the Lit Villa Hoi An. The location was amazing, right around the corner from markets and great food options. The staff were lovely, helping us book drivers and also we did laundry with them at a super cheap rate.
Review: for a home stay, it's very good!
Positive points: The room was fine, clean and when we notified the owner that our fridge and TV weren't working, this was rectified almost immediately. Our room opened up right onto the pool which was a nice touch. The pool doesn't get any sunlight so is quite cold but when we got in, the lady did turn on the heating for us. Good location with the night market nearby, lots of marts and restaurants/bars on the riverside. They also do your laundry for you at an average rate, probably places cheaper in town but easier doing it at your own hotel, it was also ready for us the next morning. They also were easy in letting us extend our stay by 2 extra nights.
Negative points: It's a family run hotel, which we understood when booking but the noise level from both the family and their screaming child throwing a tantrum practically outside our room every day at all hours was unbearable. Additionally, we informed the hotel we would be arriving prior to check-in and understood that if our room wasn't available, could we just leave our bags until check in was open. When we arrived, they offered to check us in straight away, except they brought us up to a completely different room to what we had booked. I let the man know this and he said okay but your room is not ready yet, again absolutely fine, but we weren't going to stay in a room that was of lesser value than we had paid for. Eventually the lady, who I assume is the owner came up, explained to us, our room wasn't ready but we could rest here and come down at 10am and our room would be ready for us. We massively appreciated this and were categorically told there was no charge for this. Upon checking out, we went to settle our bill, the man was trying to overcharge us, and when I showed him the price it should be from the price on booking.com, the laundry price and the price we agreed for the 2 extra nights he then said okay. Then, he tried to say we had done our laundry twice which was incorrect. Then he tried to tell us that actually we had to pay extra because we had checked in early, even though we had been told there was no charge for this at check-in. The man got extremely aggressive and was shouting in my face, at which point, I told him I would no longer converse with him and he could wait until my boyfriend gets back from the ATM and talk to him. When my boyfriend returned, the man proceeded to continue shouting, came out from behind the desk, almost charging at me while shouting in my face. My boyfriend had to tell him to calm down and stop shouting. The owner then arrived, and we were finally able to resolve the situation after much frustration and distress.
Review: The staff are accomodating .
Positive points: Wonderful kind hosts. Quiet location yet very close to the lantern street and all of the restaurants and shops. Pool was a bit chilly for some but we are from Canada so not for us.
Negative points: Nothing
Review: The hotel is clean, the rooms are spacious, and the location is convenient and lively.
Positive points: The property was in a great location and to top it all its run by a family. It felt like we stayed in someone’s house so it was very cozy and comfortable. It was one of the best ways to learn a new place. Great people and very friendly.
