S Central Hotel and Spa

Review: The manager and the staff were all accomodating, helpful and nice location was good, buffet breakfast was good cleaned the room everyday would stay at the hotel again if we had the chance

Positive points: The hotel is absolutely gorgeous! The room was very clean and spacious — especially after a long night of travel and delayed flight (we arrived at the hotel at 1:30am).
Mr. Brian was very attentive, generous and helpful in our check-in process. Mr. Brian also helped my fiancé and I book a 1-day cruise in Ha Long Bay, as well as the shuttle service to and from the Hanoi airport. Staff is so friendly and polite!
The breakfast had a variety of entrees, fresh fruit, juices, bread and a salad bar — one of the best I’ve had in my time being in Vietnam.

Review: we stayed 3 nights at this hotel, and the location was great , just 1 min walk to the Church, and it located inside the small lane.....but what the photo show on their official site was a bit different with the actual view....and if you wanna to have the street view of the Church, you need to stayed on the top floor ...but still slightly see it...the room we stayed was big , with balcony , but the bathroom is smaller than expected and there always need to take some times to cool down the room as the air-con was slow ...
but we still feel satisfy with the room under this price.
just the most disappointed part was....the male staff (almost all of it) are very annoying and impolite .......they wont give you any greeting when you passed by.....and they always wanna ask you to join their tourist activities.....and they even keep forcing us to give them a 5 stars rating on TripAdvisor and Agoda......when we claimed we wanna do it later, the manager keep pushing us to do it right now...and he even ask my friend to hand him the phone and he will do it himself...... that's really annoying and give us bad impressed......
we won't choose this hotel again even we travel to Hanoi in the future.

Positive points: The staff was exceptional, the location was very convenient, and the room was perfect for what we were looking for.

Review: We arrived late but the staff members remained super enthusistic and did not hesitate to help us.

Our transport up to Sapa was also settled well by them. Despite our short stay, would say they did an excellent job!

Positive points: It was our second time staying at the Splendid Star Hotel and Spa and just once again had a really great stay. The staff is always friendly and accommodating and the manager also upgraded us to a bigger room for free. The staff really go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable and hassle free as possible.

The hotel is very well located in old quarter and close to all attractions.
When we visit Hanoi in the future we will definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone.

Review: Clean and big room, perfect for family. Great breakfast with fresh fruits. Excellent location, very close to St. Joseph Cathedral and restaurants/street foods. Very accommodating, professional and friendly staff. Will definitely recommend.

Positive points: The staff (Rose, John and Ding Dong) were amazing and very friendly! Also the manager had organised a very nice Christmas party for everyone! We had a great massage and we had our laundry done as well. Excellent location!

Review: Very nice staff especially the receptionist Mr Dong was super helpful and knowledgeable. The hotel itself is a decent place for in middle of hanoi. Didn’t get to try the breakfast service but I’m sure it’s great as well!
