Review: Good location and good value for low budget travelers!

Positive points: Mrs. Thoa, our host was the hostess with the mostest. She was extremely helpful and genuine. The best host we've ever had. Highly recommend!

Positive points: The staff. Anything I needed was made available to me. Also we were given the offers for the boat ride around the bay as well as the bus to back to Hanoi. Both of the prices (especially the bus) were cheaper that the offers we got from others

Review: Good and affordable hotel. The woman who runs it is helpful, friendly and speaks English. She'll even rent you a bicycle free of charge for one day. Breakfast is nice and only costs 45k.

Positive points: It was clean and the shower water is strong, location is amazing its very near to the street food stores and the amusement park, i just wish we had a smart TV but rather than that everything is great, the landlady was very helpful

Review: The room was alright for one night, we were able to check in in the middle of the night and the hotel is located in the city center. Unfortunately there is a construction site and a big street right outside the room so it was pretty loud in the morning. Overall an okay room :)

Review: There is an ongoing construction right next to the hotel and also opposite the hotel. It was like being in some construction zone. The noise started at 8am and didn't stop until 9-10pm. Apart from the construction, there is very loud street just underneath the street view rooms and you can hear all the trucks, buses, cars and noisy motorbikes going up the hill. There is no view of Ha long bay from the rooms (it's oriented to construction area). If you're looking for a peaceful place to rest in ha long bay, this is not it. In addition, there was cigarette smoke in the lobby and also in the hall and it was getting into our room through the door step with closed doors. The location was ok. Facilities need some renovation and there is no elevator.

Review: We stayed in Viet Nhat Hotel for three nights. The room and bathroom were clean. The bed was a little bit hard, but you get used to it. The only problem was the noise from outside starting at 6 am (busses, motorbikes, workers) - we had a room to the street side.

Ha Long City itself is unspectacular but the bay is beautiful. The whole family helped us a lot with booking a Ha Long Bay Tour and a bus to our next stop. The Ha Long Bay Tour was cheaper compared to the same tour at other hostels/agency. We would recommend the hotel.

Review: Really Pleasant service! Very centrally located and across from Sun World and Bai Cháy Beach! Great stay and enjoy the balcony! Does have stairs but I like lil work out so no bother here. Thanks for everything! Would stay again!

Review: The bed actually better than what I expect. Was given room at highest floor (5), no lift. The guy cannot make decisions and cannot speak English nor Chinese.
