Review: Amazing value for money. My friend and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Poseidon Hotel Halong Bay! The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, always going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The beds were so comfortable—we slept like a dream every night. Waking up to the stunning views of Halong Bay from our room was the perfect way to start each day. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable experience!

Review: The hosts are friendly, the room is clean, spacious, and well-equipped.
Positive points: Super warm and hospitable hosts — they helped us with whatever we asked, called cabs, lent us umbrellas, and even have us some of their fruit.
Negative points: There is pretty much nothing within easy walking distance — which is nice for being away from the packed touristy areas, but also means you will need transport to get any variety of restaurants.

Beautiful hotel and great value for money. The stay was improved 10 fold by the above and beyond service by the owners who made us feel part of the family. If we ever come back, we'll definitely be staying here again :) Thank you for everything!

Negative points: Chủ nhà thô lỗ, nhắn tin chửi khách sau khi khách đánh giá đúng thực tế. Ở 2 đêm nhưng đêm thứ 2 ko hề có dầu gội, sữa tắm.

Chủ nhà rất thái độ với khách, giống như mình đi ăn xin vậy. Bảo là booking cho thuê phòng giá quá rẻ nên khó chịu khi mình xin lên xem phòng trước. Còn hỏi truy vấn mình rằng: "Lên xem phòng để làm gì, tại sao phải lên, ko muốn ở thì cứ đi chỗ khác chứ tại sao phải lên xem phòng???" Khiến mình cảm thấy áp lực tâm lý vô cùng.
Ko cho xem nên khi mình đem rất nhiều đồ vào nhận phòng ở, thì book phòng 4 người chỉ để 2 khăn tắm, 2 dép, ko có thảm chùi chân. Mình xuống xin thì chủ bảo rằng: "4 người chỉ cần 2 khăn là đủ rồi". Mình nói xưa nay đi Ks hay kể cả nhà nghỉ thì 4 người cũng 4 khăn, ko có nơi nào mặc định xài chung, thì chủ bảo hết khăn, ko có. Phải qua hôm sau mình book thêm 1 đêm nữa mới được cho 2 khăn nữa.
Phòng 4 người chỉ để 2 đôi dép đi trong phòng, lại ko có cái gì để chùi chân từ toilet bước ra. Nhà có người lớn tuổi, bước từ nhà tắm ra chân ướt xém trợt té.
Trước phòng tắt đèn tối om, mở cửa ra ko thấy đường đi qua thang máy luôn, xém trợt té. Mình mở đèn để thấy đường đi thì chủ lại lên tắt.
Chủ nhà tự hủy booking, mình có đến nhận phòng nhưng chủ báo là không để ăn gian tiền thuế và dịch vụ từ booking.

I booked a stay at this hotel based on the Agoda listing which stated free drinking water was provided. However, when I inquired at the front desk about the water, the staff member insisted I had to pay for it, even after I showed them the information from the app. This was a deceptive practice and false advertising.
But the real issue was the complete disregard for guest privacy. In the morning, the hotel staff simply opened our door at 9am while we were still asleep! The staff member then reminded us the checkout time was at 11am. This is completely unacceptable - you cannot just barge into guests' rooms without permission. It was a violation of our privacy and a terrible way to wake up.
Overall, this hotel stay was a massive disappointment. The false advertising, rude staff, and complete lack of respect for guests make this a place I would strongly advise others to avoid. I expect much higher standards of service and accommodation from a hotel. This experience was unacceptable.
