VietHouse Homestay Ha Long

Review: The house is very good, but the room is a bit damp and has a bit of odor. If the owner spends some effort to remove the dampness and odor, the quality of this house will be greatly improved. In addition, the first floor is the restaurant opened by the owner, and the food is delicious.

Positive points: Room has good view and the color was comfy. The window points to the main road and gét a lot of sunlight. Overall, it looks pleasure to the eyes.

A big plus is that the room was really clean, from bed sheet, floor, etc. small things like that. The bathroom was also clean and neat.

All sockets worked, and the host even offered bike rent. It was really easy and helpful.

Most of all, the host was super supportive!! Really made my trip way easier and much more flexible. Thanks!

Review: I stayed at VietHouse Homestay in Ha Long City and it turned out to be a great find at an affordable price. I was impressed by the interior design and decor of the room. However, the throw pillows had an old smell and the room itself had a musty odor, like that of an old basement. I think the room needs more fresh air or fragrance to freshen it up. The staff were friendly and provided me with amazing recommendations. Two days in Ha Long City were perfect for me as I had already visited the Bay on a cruise tour and wanted a more local experience. If you want to go on a cruise out on the waters, you can book a 4 or 6-hour tour with the homestay at a good price. I rented a motorbike from the homestay and it was perfect for exploring the other side of the province. I visited Sunworld, Hon Gai Beach, the Quanh Ninh Museum and the local night market. I highly recommend VietHouse Homestay to anyone visiting Ha Long City, if not come for their Banh Mi!

Review: I stayed here one night before a cruise to Ha Long bay and my host was SO NICE! Helped bring my bags up, helped me get dinner after almost all the restaurants were closed (I was having issues with my debit card withdrawing money). He was very nice and has an awesome guide full of places to eat, get coffee and visit.

Review: The homestay owner rents out the house which also serves as a bakery (really delicious!) and a hotel, so the whole house smells like bread :)). The owner is enthusiastic and friendly, guiding us and arranging a tour to HL for us reliably. The room for 4 people is clean and looks like the pictures, but it's a bit cramped with no space for luggage, yet it's still worth the money!
