Review: Good service, nice and spacious room.

Positive points: The hotel has a nice rooftop and in general makes an impression of a 5 star hotel but it wasn't. It has nice views an average facility I guess it's good enough for local standards but it doesn't qualify as a 5-star at least not by our standards.

I recently stayed at The Watson Premium Halong Hotel and was impressed by its brand-new feel—everything is spotlessly clean, and the entire staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and caring, making it a highly recommended spot for a relaxing getaway. The rooms are modern with great views, featuring high-quality sheets and bedding, a TV with YouTube access (a big plus!), and convenient bedside phone charging like you’d find in a Japanese hotel. The swimming pool offers a stunning view, and the breakfast buffet is decent with a good variety of food, though I’d love to see more drink options beyond the limited selection. There’s not much to do besides unwind, which is perfect if that’s your goal. However, I strongly advise skipping the spa services—massages, hair, and foot treatments are a letdown the area is dirty, the staff lack professional training, and the tools and cloths are reused without proper cleaning, so bring your own loose clothing if you must. The spa staff also talk too much when you’re trying to relax, and the facilities need better sanitation, like replacing items and sanitizing seats after each customer. On a positive note, the hotel went above and beyond by granting us a late checkout with an extra two hours since our flight was later and there wasn’t much else to do—such kindness was deeply appreciated. I hope they maintain this level of service as the hotel ages, keeping the cleanliness and care consistent, while seriously improving the spa to match the rest of this wonderful experience.

Review: I recently stayed at this hotel for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, offering a variety of options that catered to different tastes. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive they proactively checked in to see if we needed any help and did their best to assist us. They even allowed us an early check-in and a late check-out, which made our stay even more convenient. The location was also very comfortable, providing a relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for great service, tasty meals, and a cozy environment!

Review: This is a perfect stop if you want to spend a night in Ha Long before getting on the cruise. The property is well maintained with a nice restaurant.

Review: The Watson is a 5 star hotel conveniently located in Halong City. It is close to Tuan Chau Marina and also close to good shopping and restaurants. The one thing we enjoyed about our room was the German made bathtub which was of exceptional quality.

Positive points: Hotel is great, clean, rooms are beautiful , very comfortable , you have everything you need.
Stuff is very attentive and helpful .

Review: This was a very nice hotel. Everything is 5 star. The staff, room, breakfast and the 25th floor pool.

Positive points: room, cheap price

Review: I had to request to be moved to an end unit. Rooms close to the elevators are noisy due to poor soundproofing.
I wanted to sleep in one morning and someone called me to remind me that breakfast ends soon. Why do you have to do this? I hate being interrupted with my sleep. I couldn't care less if I miss breakfast!

Positive points: The pool and bar on the top floor/roof were amazing! The view from the pool is beautiful and gives you a nice view for the sunset.

The breakfast has many options and the quality is high.

The staff is eager to help you arrange anything, for example a taxi to the harbor for a Halong Bay cruise.

Review: Super clean and beautiful - worth it for a few night in spite of halong not being the most interesting area (maybe not was just because of tet)! Staff is wonderful and so is the hotel:))

Positive points: Rooms were high quality, comfortable bed, nice shower. Good noise cancellation. Good Wi-Fi for working.

Review: Staff were particularly helpful especially Joyce who organised a car service as well as other assistance. Well priced and quite new very spacious rooms.

Positive points: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Watson. We arrived early and had to wait, and they kindly upgraded one of our rooms. The hotel was very clean, rooms are spacious and the gym has excellent equipment options and good a/c. Infinity pool has a beautiful view of Halong Bay. Breakfast options were great with lots of variety. Price was very reasonable too as we booked early!
