He showed me the room, which had no dishes at all (I had booked a room with a kitchen, I was coming for a week and was going to cook by myself). When I asked him where the utensils were, he was surprised and replied: you should buy it by yourself. The first (still light) shock))) I asked to bring all the same dishes, he asked me to write a list of necessary things and he will bring. Also was the main embarrassing moment: the room was colder than outside (it is February in Hanoi and at the time of my arrival was only +14 degrees). And he told me “that’s not cold”. While standing there with several layers of clothes in front of me and a down jacket with a hood on top. Shock again) the air conditioner works only for cold, no heaters. I asked to bring a heater, answer was no, cause they do not need it. Needless to say, I barely forced myself to shower and go to bed in such a cold.. The time was 5:30 am. At seven o'clock in the morning, when I could just fall asleep after a long flight in this cold, there was a knocking on my door, I couldn't believe) I didn't open it, the knocking didn't stop. I was shocked again... I opened the door, the owner brought dishes and without asking, could he come into the room or not, started to unpack them, I immediately asked him to just put everything and leave because it was SEVEN in the morning and I didn't feel well and just fell asleep. He didn't leave, also he almost doesn’t speak English, so there was no understanding at all. He ended up rattling the dishes in my kitchen for about fifteen more minutes, when I asked him to stop it all and leave me alone finally, he ignored me. Honestly, I just wanted to cry from such disrespect.
