Ngoc Lan Halong Hotel

Review: Overall experience was ok, due to i just need a transit stay. However, the town area is a bit far from buzzing Halong city and also Tuan Chau cruise terminal, and not much of food choices especially at night. There is Winmart convenient store nearby, and we settle our dinner there.

Grab car is easy accessible, so no worries to grab around.

Review: The hotel is clean. Close to Sunworld, convenient for everyone to go out. I rented a room for 800/night which includes breakfast. The breakfast at the hotel is very very delicious. It suits my taste perfectly.

Review: The view is very beautiful both in terms of landscape and inside the room, the hotel is spacious and cool, and the staff is enthusiastic and friendly. However, the TV needs improvement as it cannot access the applications.

Positive points: First, we have a problem with toilet but they change the new room for us. The staff is hepful but we have problem to communicate wit the reception. The room is quite new. AC and hot water is good.

Review: The didn’t inform us that the food on the tray is for sale 😀We think it’s complimentary so we take it and we are charged double or triple😂

Review: A really nice place to stay. All the staff were friendly and helpful and were quick to use translators. From here we walked to restaurants, ATM, market, food street, night market and Sun World.. Only a short taxi ride to get our cruise. we would stay here again.

Review: Beautiful hotel lobby with friendly staff, location is a little away from the entertainment area but quiet and safe feeling. we woke up late for breakfast but they still accommodated is. Bed was one of the harder ones we found on our travels.

Review: Great location, it is within walking distance to Sunworld Halong. We got a twin room which looks very clean. However, there is only one electric outlet for two people. There was also smell in the room. We could overlook this but it should be improved in the future.

Review: The hotel was nowhere near full, but for some reason we were given the only room(804) which was quite a spacious room but without a view, as it was blocked by part of the building structure. The bed was the hardest I have ever been on and the shower lacked power and hot water.
The staff were responsive when we asked for extra pillows, and did try to improve the shower.
Breakfast on our first day did have a reasonable selection, but wasn't hot. On the second day we looked to be the only ones having breakfast and we're asked the evening before if we either wanted chicken noodle soup or egg on bread and asked what time we wanted it. So that was all we were given when we went, the wife and for toast but there was no butter and to be honest it felt like we were an inconvenience being there. A shame as it is quite a nice looking hotel.
