Hoi An Golden Rice Villa

Review: Had a really great stay here.

Positive points: We were welcomed so warmly by Van and Golden Rice staff as soon as we arrived and they have remained so attentive to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Set in a beautiful, peaceful semi-rural setting with easy access by pushbike (available for use) to the stunning old city/markets/historic sights. The pool was an added bonus and a great way to cool off from the heat, or to relax around. A la carte meals delicious. Golden Rice was recommended to us by friends and it certainly has not disappointed. We will also be recommending it to others. Thankyou sincerely for a lovely stay

Review: Was so doubtful when I arrived but after several days there, became apparent that it's the best value, spacious rooms, drinks in the pool, bicycle riding perfectly placed for quick ride to the busy hub for meals or drinks, or preferably through the rice fields then equally spaced between the beach and the old town. Highly recommended for all types of travellers

Review: I do not think they are honest and as friendly as some reviews say I paid for breakfast on my booking witch I showed them they told me I had to pay again beware

Review: We had a very nice stay in this small and cosy hotel, next to paddy fields, yet not far from Hoi An. The staff was exceptionally kind and attentive to our needs. We had a nice ride in the countryside and to the beach with the free hotel bicycles. Our room was very big and clean, with a stunning view. We would gladly come back for another stay. Thank you for everything!

Positive points: Golden rice villa is in such a beautiful location, very quiet and away from busy roads and roughly in between the beach and town centre. Because it is off the main part (but only a few min walk to a main road) not many people were staying there compared to other villas so I had the place and pool to myself mostly which was perfect for my first week here. Was invited to a party by the hotel staff and was one of the best nights I’ve had while in Hoi An.

Review: A friend recommended this villa after staying here, so I also booked it on my trip. It was an excellent place to stay. It is just a few minutes outside of the city which is great if you want a quieter location away from the traffic. The front desk is happy to call you a taxi anytime you'd like to see the city and it is a short inexpensive ride into town. The rooms are clean, large, and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A great value for your money.

Positive points: Everything! The location is beautiful, so peaceful, only a 5 min motorbike ride / 10 min cycle from the town centre. The room and the bathroom are HUGE and very clean. The air conditioning works great, and the best part about the room is it is so well insulated that after turning off the A/C in the morning, the room is still cool when I get back in the afternoon.

Van Le is an amazing host, really good communication and caters very well to her guests. The host family is lovely, they don't speak much English but they make up for it in smiles :)

Positive points: Absolutely loved staying here! Well equipped room and comfortable bed with lovely views. Beautiful pool. Helpful and kind host. Free bicycle usage. Wonderful location amongst the rice paddies.

Review: I've lived and traveled all over SE Asia for 12 years. This is the best value ever. It's a lovely place with very personal, friendly service. It's a little ways outside of the main city, but the bike ride into town is a pleasant 15 minute ride with shops & cafes along the way.

Positive points: Very friendly and helpful staff, beautiful location and super comfortable room. Was able to make use of a bicycle to get in and out of town making it very convenient despite being in a peaceful location out of town.

Review: Very nice small hotel. Good staff. In the rice fields not too far from Cua Dai beach or Ang Bang, Lucky and Hidden beaches yet only not quite 3 Klms from the Old Town. Bicycles are available but we also chose to walk a number of times and was very easy going through the rice fields. A 10 minute or so walk will find you at Cua Dai Road where you will find some good restaurants, deli's and a local market. The family who own the villa are very friendly and make you feel like at home. The pool was good but could probably do with a bit of afternoon shade to keep the water cool. The pool side rooms were very large with comfortable beds, good value for money we thought.

Positive points: Lovely accommodation in the rice paddies of Hoi Ann! The view from the entrance of the hotel is unbeatable. Room was incredibly spacious with a koi pond and pool right outside the window. You can borrow a bike from the property and bike to a lovely cafe right down the road, or 20 minutes to the nearest beach. I traveled solo while working remotely and had such a lovely, peaceful stay. It was an amazing value for the price and I hope to come back again another time!

Review: Loved our stay here. Beautiful large room-views out to paddy fields and swimming pool. Reasonable mini bar and a generous made to order breakfast every day. Really warm and friendly staff. Recommended.

Positive points: We loved how spacious the villa was and also the rooms were very spacious. Location was great, just a couple of minutes to the ancient town and all the restaurants and also on the way to An Bang beach.
