Oasis Homestay

Review: This was easily the most comfortable and best equipped homestay during our time in Vietnam. The room was spacious, modern, had a soft bed, and at the same time less expensive than most of the other places we stayed at. There's also a rooftop terrace with a massage chair. The homestay is located in a pleasant residential neighborhood, but not too far to walk to the old town.

My and Matthieu are super friendly and helpful. They arranged a scooter to rent, a taxi to Da Nang (and also offer laundry service) all at a very good price. On our second evening, My made a hotpot with all kinds of amazing stuff that we had together, which also gave us the chance to have a long and interesting conversation with our hosts.

Positive points: Ahh! Where to start : Matthieu and My are a very nice couple who speak English, French and Vietnamese. We booked at first for 3 nights and added to more later on because we enjoyed the homestay and the city. We've had a really good time during our 5 nights there. The room was comfortable, spacious, A/C worked great, the balcony of the upper room was a plus.
We wanted to have a cooking class, so our hosts made it happen. We went to the market to buy the ingredients, prepared everything and enjoyed the meal with them. It was a memorable and authentic experience that we ABSOLUTELY LOVED.

Also, at Oasis homestay, you are about 15 mins away by walk from the busy and loud part of the Old Town. It will allow you to have a good night of sleep and still be near the action. The homestay is easy to find and surrounded by coffee shops and restaurants.

Our hosts also offer a laundry service and have a scooter that you can rent at a very competitive price. We used the scooter for a couple days which allowed us to visit the rice fields, Da Nang, the beach, My son...

If you are not worried of driving around on a scooter, rent it for at least a day. It will allow you to see so much more. It's the best way to discover Vietnam. It'll give you a feeling of freedom.

Positive points: The best Place i been in Vietnam...

Positive points: Lovely big room and balcony! Comfortable bed, high tech electronics! Beautiful bathroom and property! Everything was extremely clean and well maintained. Hosts were lovely and just left us to it. The property is located about 15 min walk to the main area but there are few good food spots around the hotel too. Out of all the hostels, hotels and homestays we have stayed in Vietnam (around 10) this was our favourite accommodation! Unfortunately only spent a night here but when I return to Hoi An, I would definitely stay here again!

Positive points: The property itself is located about a 10-15 minute walk from the main town with lots of shops, restaurants and activities, it’s location means it’s less hectic when you’re stepping outside which I think is good. The whole place was incredibly clean and they would attend to your room when you were out so you were not disturbed.
The owners themselves are lovely and have a very cute dog who is nice and friendly and I loved giving a lot of strokes to. The room has everything you could need for a comfortable stay and the owners are happy to answer questions and give recommendations for what to do and see in the area and any other help you might need.

Positive points: We extended our stay from three nights to a full week, and it turned out to be an amazing experience. The hotel owners—My, Matt, and their dog friend Oasis—are a lovely family. My and Matt were extremely kind and accommodated all our reasonable requests with great politeness. And Oasis filled our hearts with joy, wagging his tail every time.

The room was spacious, with a large balcony, new furniture, and high-tech electronic devices. It was well-maintained and spotlessly clean at all times.

You can rent bicycles or motorbikes directly from the hotel. The location is excellent—just a 10-minute walk to the tourist center. It’s not too much central, yet not too far out either. We had an incredible time, and in terms of price-performance, it was very comfortable and felt just like home.

We’d like to thank them once again. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Hoi An! ☺️

Positive points: The hosts here are super lovely and want you to have the best stay in Hoi An. The Large room was functional and modern, we had access to the roof top terrace where we had breakfast each morning and Netflix in the room, both unexpected bonuses. Quieter location only a 15-20min walk into the Old Quarter.
