Anantara Hoi An Resort

Review: I really wanted to love this hotel but it was lacking in a few areas. I felt there should always be someone in the front at all times, anyone can just walk into the property and stumble into your room accidently. The breakfast buffet was also not what I expected from a five star hotel, a few items here and there but nothing stood out. The gentleman making the eggs was also very unapproachable. Room was mediocre at best, the deluxe balcony i oaid for was metely a toom with a small front porch. I was fold i had been upgraded but it felt otherwise.The staff was kind in there interactions. I just don't see how this resort can compare to other five star restaurants in the area.

Review: Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The resort is so peaceful and beautifully maintained. Amazing spa with highly skilled masseuses (although the treatment rooms are undergoing renovation at the moment). Also loved the complimentary bike rental which made it easy to explore the old town. Would definitely return for the next trip to Hoi An!

Review: As the price is double than the hotel which i stayed before i moved to Anatara , I expect things would be better, but the room that they first assigned to us was in third floor in which I guss it's because we book in agoda, we asked for a better room as we didn't want to go all the ways up to third floor without much view. and then they assigned another room which is the first floor but also not much view. The hotel actually has alot of vacancy and empty rooms but i don't know why they can't give us a better room at first. Is it because we book through Agoda? The staff are standard , not much smile. just the breakfast was quite good as they have a lot of choices. We asked for the free bikes renting but all the bicycles were so old and when we head out to the city, the one that my boyfriend had got broke down and we have to ditch that broken bicycles on the street and both of us ride on one bike which is not yet broken but still old bicycle together back. There were no apology from them , all they are was where we ditch the broken bicycle.

Positive points: The staff at Anantara was unbelievable! Everyone from reception, to the restaurant, to the spa employees treated us like gold and we're so incredibly lovely. They even had a free 15 minute shoulder massage for us when we first arrived. The location was fabulous, the property was beautiful – will for sure return when we come back to Hoi An!

Review: Breakfast was absolutely horrible with no table service and cold food. Coffee was undrinkable. For over $400 a night this is unacceptable and I have already told my friends and colleagues not to stay at this hotel.

Review: The location was brilliant and the hotel felt like a peaceful sanctuary within easy walking distance of the (more chaotic) heritage old town and multiple amazing restaurants. The staff were very helpful and very friendly and accommodating towards children.

Review: Myself and my girlfriend could not have been happier at Anantara Hoi an, from start to finish the staff and hotel exceeded all expectations. Short bike ride to all restaurants and shops by free bike rental and the pool by the water was amazing. Thank you very much for having us and if back in hoi an we will look no further than staying here again 😊

Positive points: Good rooms. Great houskeeping. Eco-friendly with glass bottles for drinking water, bamboo toiletries etc. Usual Anantara amazing-ness.
Striking distance to Old Town. Friendly staff who made an effort getting a cake organised for my mum's birthday. Thank you!
