Hoi An Chic Green Retreat

Review: Little piece of paradise just outside the centre of Hoi An. We loved our stay here, we used the free bicycles daily to explore local area, free shuttle at set times, great pool. delicious breakfast, extensive menu in the evening and the kindest, caring staff ever. Would definitely stay again next time we visit. Thanks for everything.

Positive points: The staff are OUTSTANDING. Nothing was too much trouble.
We suffered food poisoning due to something we ate before arriving at Hoi An Chic and spent 24 hours in our room.
The staff made sure we wanted for nothing and Ching Ching went to the pharmacy for medication.

The food at the hotel was plentiful, cooked fresh, and really tasty.

The room was immaculate.

The shuttle bus ran on demand to suit us instead of keeping to its timetable.

When we left it felt as if we were leaving family behind with the staff waving until we were out of sight.

Review: We stayed here for 3 days. The room size was bit small. However it was a good deal for the price we booked at. Moreover almost all nearby City center hotels are cramped up unless you are willing to spend fortune. The staff was very helpful and supportive. They have a great breakfast spread. Location is good too. Everything is at walkable distance from the hotel, so we did not hire a motorbike there. Cleanliness is good too.

Positive points: I had an absolutely fantastic stay. From the moment I checked in the staff were so friendly and super helpful and that continued for the duration of my stay. After spending a busy few days in the old town, the location was exactly what I was after, nice and quiet and relaxing whilst still being close enough to the action. The breakfast was fantastic and the room brilliant. Would absolutely recommend and will definitely stay again.

Review: It's been an awesome stay. Everything was up to expectation and the staff was awesome. It looked exactly like the pictures and we were very blessed to be surrounded by rice fields. The hotel also tried very hard to be environmentally friendly by not providing plastic bags and bottled water. We stayed during a period with village festival causing loud noises at the hotel, it immediately offered shuttle bus to transport guests to have their nights in old town instead. Would definitely recommend.

All the staff are wonderful and make your stay very welcoming and they always go well beyond your expectations. The breakfast is absolutely amazing - I enjoyed the large selection of fresh fruits which changed daily - there is also a mixture of asian and western breakfast foods with an egg station. The pool is in a great spot that overlooks more rice fields. Unfortunately the facilities are starting to show their age. Would definitely stay again!

Positive points: A green oasis, in a tranquil surrounding but only 10min. biking from the city. Very stylish accommodation, cosy atmosphere and welcoming staff. You wake up with a view on rice fields and buffalos. Perfect for everyone who prefers boutique locations with personal touch and modern asian design.

Review: I wanted to stay among green rice fields in tranquil area AWAY from old city Hoi An. They have free bikes and a regular shuttle that takes you to town. It is quaint and I would stay there again. Hotel provides variety of snack bars complimentary in room which was a nice welcoming touch. We did have a small issue with ants that are attracted to any food you have in room.

Positive points: By far the best hotel we had in Vietnam. The rooms are designed with taste and offer great comfort. The staff is very friendly and we loved the breakfast. The free shuttle service made it easy to get downtown. Highly recommend!

Review: I booked a night's stay and was anticipating a relaxing and chill night. My experienced was mixed.

The place looked good and instagrammable nice pools and rice fields surrounding. Rooms were spacious and overlooked the ricefields, so that was good.

Amenities wise, my outdoor tub (ensuite), on closer inspection, had an issue of large numbers of ants crawling through the area I did not dare use the tub. I was located near a generator of sorts, so there was periodically a buzzing sound that stayed on for quite a bit (had a bit headache). At night, there was also some karaoke going on across the rice field, but it tapered down through the night.

At night, the restaurant was empty, so I was pleasantly but also awkwardly surprised. The only dish i wanted to order was not available (he made some calls) so I decided to grabfood instead.

Lastly, check in was delayed by about 30-40 mins beyond 2pm. While I can understand that things happen, it would have been nice if the hotel provided additional water or allowed me to use the amenities etc. first.

Throughout the stay, the hotel staff were polite and welcoming though.

Positive points: The friendliness of the staff,the corner suite room,the breakfast(Mr chin chin was friendly)the views and the garden and the paddy fields the pool and the service is high standards of hospitality.

Review: Mình có một trip dài ở VN, nhưng mình ấn tượng nhất là Chic Garden . Mọi thứ ở đây đều tốt, đặc biệt là các chị nhân viên dễ thương vô cùng. Mình sẽ quay trở lại khi có dịp đến Hội an.

Positive points: We had an excellent stay at Hoi An Chic Green Retreat. We had intended to stay 2 nights and ended up staying 5. The setting of this charming little hotel is very relaxing. The rooms is large, well equipped with a large bathroom and a large terrace. The swimming pool is ideal for cooling off from the hot days in Hoi An, and above all the staff are adorable. Many thanks to the receptionist, whose first name we forgot to ask. Her little attentions and advice were invaluable. Special thanks also to Xin Xin at the restaurant for his attentive service. And let's not forget Hailevan, who kindly prepared our bikes for us every day! It was a pleasure to share so many smiles with these people throughout our stay. If you're looking for a little haven of peace in the middle of rice paddies, equi-distant from the city and the beach, look no further! And the hotel offers shuttle.

Review: This place stays true to its name: Chic Green Retreat. Its attention to detail (design, environmentally-friendly, service and layout) is satisfying to experience. We stayed in the Grand Chic room and it's totally worth the extra money. We slept very well, ate delicious breakfast with a view of the surrounding paddy fields and felt warmly welcomed by a team of staff genuinely eager to ensure that your stay is comfortable from check-in to check-out.

Positive points: Beautiful setting, very nice and comfortable rooms. We really enjoyed borrowing the bicycles and riding around the fields. The beach the hotel takes you to is lovely. Great breakfast and kids really enjoyed the pool. The shuttle bus to the Hoi A market is really helpful, as it would be hard to get a taxi. Would definitely stay again.
