French 2BR Villa. OldQuarter. Balcony. BBQ garden

Review: I booked this private Villa months in advance. Apparently it is (mis)managed by an AirBnB service. Messages were never answered, and on check-in day I was informed (only after calling them) there was a plumbing problem that could not be repaired that day. The owner said it was an electrical problem. Both lies. They offered to move me to a “very nice” villa that turned out to be a room with only a bed and bathtub in someone’s house. After booking another hotel, I went by the private Villa - where guests were enjoying the outdoor patio. No plumbing/electrical problem - obviously just double-booked as they have done in the past. Do not trust these people - you have been warned.

Review: We were provided with an alternate Homestay from the one we booked online. However, the alternative was also an excellent site. Clean, spacious and quiet. Far from the hustle and bustle of the central area. The host was very quick on her replirs. Also kindly allowed us a place to leave our luggage before our check-in and helped us get transportation. Overall, a positive and good start to our visit to Vietnam.
