Review: So cozy ~~~
Positive points: Room was nice.
Negative points: We got locked out of the property at night and both our phones were dead:( luckily one of the other guests saved us and told us the code for the lock as staff didn't tell us about it. Luckily it was only 10pm and not later
Review:
Great pool
Upstairs rooms are good
Location is about 5 min drive from hoi an town
Positive points: The staff is unbelievably friendly and helpful. The contact via WhatsApp worked out perfectly and I always received an answer immediately. The guest house is located in a quiet area in front of the rice fields which you can explore easily by bike. The beach is only 10 min away by bike.
Negative points: Nothing, everything was great!
Review:
Location is great if you want to bike everywhere and it’s near beautiful lemongrass fields
Pool is good
Positive points: The place is indeed beautiful. The common area is full of plants and I love them. Located next to the rice field it's very fresh. The room is pretty good too with its price.
Negative points: I didn’t have the chance to meet the host or a receptionist upon arrival instead, I was greeted by a kind lady who appeared to be part of the housekeeping staff. Although she was friendly, the check-in process felt a bit unconventional as it seemed she wasn’t accustomed to typical hospitality roles. During our three-day stay, it also appeared that we were the only guests, which contributed to a very quiet, somewhat isolated atmosphere. In particular, at night, the absence of other guests and staff made us feel a bit uneasy. We encountered an issue with securing the main gate as no instructions were provided, leaving it unlocked throughout our stay. Clearer guidance on this would not only be helpful but also make guests feel more secure.
Review: We were amazed by the breakfast, the cleanliness, and even the cozy and friendly atmosphere from the space and the staff.
Positive points: Location was good.
Negative points: Need to do pestcontrol.
Review:
It's o.k for what you paid.
Kind of far from old town.
Roosters and gusses cry all night long.
No deep sleep.
Positive points: The staff and location was amazing
Review: Like this place from the name "Lemongrass" which bring you feel like home in the traditional Vietnamese style. The staffs are very nice & kindly support 24/24. They give free bike, so just cycling around rice fields areas and go to the old town to explore more interesting there.
Positive points: It was very quiet, away from the rush of the city
Negative points: There was usualy no staff around, was told there was breakfast from 7am but no one was there till 9
Review: Lovely staff, clean & nice rooms, well located if you like to stay a little outside.
Positive points: Its away from the noise of the city, and the pool is nice
Negative points: My room hasnt been cleaned once, and in the morning there was never anyone if you wanted to have breakfast. So if you dont need much from your hotel, this is a perfect place, nice and quiet. Oh and the airco wasnt working properly
Review: the staff, i think the owner, was very impolite. the room was dirty but the price too high for that conditions.
Positive points: Exceptional rooms. Lovely pool area. Staff were super and very accommodating. Let me change rooms due to a particularly rude and noisey rooster🤣 Best rooms in Asia so far and excellent value.
Review:
We visited Hoi An in a low season so everything was perfect: Nice hotel, friendly and helpful staffs, beautiful weather. This homestay is located 3km far from Hoi An ancient town but you can get there by taxi. It costs about 40-50,000 VND.
In front of this homestay is a rice field so you can totally enjoy the natural wind. Lemongrass doesn't have a swimming pool but its sister - Hoi An Chic has so you can use this pool freely.
Because we went there in a low season so in the last day, they decided to move me and my friend to Hoi An Chic :D It was really a great offer for us.
Positive points: The location, owners, overall rooms :)
Negative points: The neighbors were loud with their chickens or, other noises
Review:
Pros: Very nice designed rooms in details with rustic wood and natural eco-friendly materials - clean, airy and functional. Amazing rice field view. Great location. Well-trained staff. Good decent breakfast. Small but awesome infinity swimming pool.
Cons: Unknown upfront that the accommodation and the swimming pool are not on the same site/place. Pictures here might give you the idea that they are while they are not. Lemongrass Homestay and Hoi An Chic which are a few steps away, both belong to or are run by one host. The swimming pool locates in Hoi An Chic where Lemongrass' residents can freely access to use - a bit inconvenient though. And it's closed by 8pm - another bugging thing.
Positive points:
This is a lovely country setting in the rice paddies that’s been done up very nicely and I loved the aesthetic. It’s in the country amongst rice paddies and chickens which we much preferred to a high scale blackout curtain kinda place. Even the chickens and rooster didn’t bother us.
The pool and renovations are really well done. The shower, cold fridge, good AC, big bed. ights everywhere there should be lights, and enough space for a cozy stay. Powerpoint right behind the headboard and good reading lights.
The real standout is how she welcomed us, organised our rides, helped with things to do, organised our food. Nothing was too much hassle for her.
Negative points: Vietnam is known for open doors but the number of ants in the room, although small, were extreme. The TV was hard to navigate and the sheets were barely big enough to fit the bed, too small when people are under them. We got new towels every day but not toilet paper or water unless we asked for it, and no bath mat despite a leaking hot water heater that made the bathroom floor wet. The bathroom has been nicely redone but the seat is too close to the shower stall forcing you to sit on the toilet awkwardly. We also ran out of shower soap after only three nights so the detail attention wasn’t 100%. Again, it’s very good for the price
