Positive points: Very clean, well equipped, nice ac and calm area of town, reccomend.

Review: I arrived late at 8pm and met a very friendly old couple in the evening, so I didn't prepare myself for the guard in the morning shift to be so rude to me. Not only did he neither say hi nor smile, but he also scolded me, making me feel like he was superior, thinking he was in charge and I should be listening to him. The facility was amazing, the view was amazing, especially the lake-view bed, everything was so perfect instead of a very rude guard who was supposed to act polite and kind as he is the only one representing this homestay in person. I wouldn't say that my experience was ruined, I love that place and will probably come back but I wouldn't be so happy to be scolded again while being a customer at this homestay!

Review: I called Agoda to complain about the ant problem on the 1st night I checked in, since there is no front desk but only a security person (who doesn't speak English) on the ground floor. nnI was told that the property owner denied my complain and there is nothing Agoda can do. This is very interesting as the hotel didn't send anyone to check the room but just simple denied -- how can this be acceptable to Agoda.nnI emailed agoda the photos to prove the situation and agoda said I will have to wait 48-72 hours for another reply. In the mean time, there is nothing Agoda can/ will do.nnSo what happened after 72 hours? Nothing! Nothing at all!!!! (shame on you Agoda)nnAgoda didn't follow up, hotel didn't send anyone to check the room or talk to me.nnI am extremely disappointed at Agoda's handling of my complain, and wonder how can this property be listed?nnBy the way, the sofa is broken in the room (I also sent photo to Agoda) -- This was not what I was paying for. Together with the ant problem. The property didn't deliver the service agreement/ what is listed on Agoda I was paying for. nnHow can Agoda simply told me on the phone that because I had made the payment, there is nothing they can do.nnThis is totally illogical. If I didn't make the payment, how can I access to the room?!?!

Review: We were well welcome by the agency staff,and they amazingly gave us a great apt on high floor, with a great view on the lake.nAfter everyday, walking in the noisy city, it was a relief to come back in our building, near few relax cafe, with view on lake too.nAmazing!n

Positive points: quiet location and not that far to the old town.

Review: The feeling of comfort is like being at home with the decor and space. The view of the lake is very beautiful. I will come back. The security guard is a bit gruff, if you have any difficulties in communication, you can contact the phone number on Agoda for assistance (he is very enthusiastic and charming).

Positive points: cosy and typical Hanoi

Review: The condition of the room was pretty good. It was clean and well-equipped. The location is good but it's not next to the lake like we expected. There is a building between this one and the lake so the view wasn't as good as we expected. There is a lot of construction in the neighborhood and even on the 1st floor of this building. My biggest complaint is that there isn't really anyone there to answer questions or help with problems. There is a security guard there but he didn't help much (because of language mainly). There isn't a sign out front to make it easy to find and there is a lot of smoke that came up the stair well from the security room/lobby to our room. We liked being in this neighborhood but we were a little disappointed with our stay. If you speak Vietnamese and if you don't need help with much, I think this place can be a good choice.

Positive points: The staff were very accommodating and helpful in getting me settled in. They had offered me hot tea and fresh fruits.nnAlso I used to come back late at night, it was a smooth process to get back into the property. Highly recommended for everyone looking to stay in Hanoi as it overlooks Truc Bach lake.
