The Present River Hoi An Villa

Review: The Hotel is in a fantastic position, close to restaurants and bars. The staff are fantastic ! Happy to help with anything you require from booking tours , giving directions, sorting local laundry, the rooms are immaculate.

Positive points: It was in a great location. Staff extremely helpful and arranged a transfer for us from da nang to Hoi a which was fabulous. Room is spacious.

Review: It was a nice room with a partial view of the river. Probably the comfiest bed I’ve had in Vietnam the only problem was the room was so small. There was no closet and no safe. The water pressure was good and the water was nice and hot. Overall it’s definitely good value for the money but if I go back I’d pay the extra to get a suite.

Positive points: Location is ideal as right next to Old Town. Staff were excellent and helped arrange some extra activities for us and also arranged taxi from station without any fuss. Room was as expected.

Review: We initially booked for 5 nights at this hotel after reading reviews and noting the proximity to where the action is at Hoi An. Very thankful that hotel was very flexible when we made a mistake of double booking and they graciously agreed to let us change booking to 2 nights. For the price, you really cannot complain about the look and feel of the room. It is clean, neat and they gave us more pillows upon request which was a lifesaver! The shower’s heating leaves more the be desired as the temperature is very unstable. The toothbrush sets in the room appears to be a collection from everywhere as they are all in different shapes, sizes and packaging 😅We didn’t touch them. Toilet is clean. Our major complain is that the towels smell and facial tissues ain’t provided. The laundry is done in-house and though they use a dryer with high heat, the towels do smell such that after you use it, your skin will have the same odour transferred from the towels! So we didn’t dare to use it on our faces and used our own tissues to dry our face. For a short stay of 2 nights, it’s still bearable. For those who don’t mind all these, then this place provides a good rest as the room is quiet enough by around 10pm for a proper rest. The mattress is a little soft on the sides so you can actually fall off if you sleep too near the edge. It happened to me twice! The staff were amazing and kind. They do their best to help you with any request for which I’m grateful. So if your on a tight budget and can if you do not mind some comfort trade-offs, I’ll highly recommend this place for it has one of the best locations you can ask for!

Positive points: Pictures are a little deceiving but for the cost this place is fine, location was a big plus and honestly with all the noise outside it didn’t really come inside the rooms

Review: Hotel is within walking distance to Old Town. Room has balcony but we got a billboard blocking our view. Can use their bicycle for free. Has mini swimming pool. Hotel might a little bit hard to find since it's in the back of restaurant sharing same building.

Positive points: Greet location overlooking the river, minute walk from restaurants and bars, lovely bath and nice bed.

Positive points: Staff are helpful, location is convenient, and the rooms are nice. It's easy to communicate with them through their WhatsApp info. They helped with food recommendations, and tickets to the Memories of Hoi An show (which is a must see).

Positive points: The location was absolutely stunning, walking distance to essentially everything. The hotel was greatly valued for the service and space.

Review: We stayed a total of 1 night at the The Present Villa. Although it was not the cleanest (the toilet floor had ants) and the room was a little bit small, we had a pleasant stay overall. The beds were comfortable and the windows facing the road were mostly (99%) soundproof. The hotel was incredibly near Hoi an’s highlights and was even nearer to their night life. The location is fantastic if you want somewhere central.

Positive points: I had a wonderful stay at the present river villa. The hospitality was exceptional, and the service truly stood out. A special mention to Hen at the reception, who was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. She provided excellent suggestions for local attractions and dining, which added so much value to my trip. Her friendly demeanor and attentiveness made me feel right at home.

The room was clean and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The location was also perfect, making it easy to explore the area.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and memorable experience. Thank you to the entire team for making my stay so enjoyable

Positive points: The staff were very friendly & helpful. Clean and comfortable bed. Hot & powerful shower. Great location overlooking the river & seconds away from lots of bar's & restaurants but far enough away from the late night ones so we weren't disturbed. (Even though we were in the late ones most nights 🤪) There was a lift too. Too cold & wet to try the swimming pool.(the weather not the water in the pool😆)
