The Lakeside House

Review: The dorm room was nice and clean. The location is a little bit far (10 mins ride) from old quarter but very quiet. But it is strange that they close doors at 12 and the way to the hotel at night can be dark. Apart from it, all good!

Positive points: Definitely a place you can book. Practically no downsides.nn- Clean!n- modern and inviting, a welcome change from the more run down places we stayed atn- great location, much to explore from heren- kind staffn- mini fridge was stocked with water and other drinks, which we desperately needed (10k VND per small water bottle)

Review: This property is kinda guest house located by the lake, yet they offer dorm-bed. Got realised: I was the only transient dorm guest there while others staying for longer periods. They maintain cleanliness. Bed is comfy. The lady manager is friendly yet super strict w.r.t. check-in policy. Still recommended.

Review: The staff are enthusiastic and friendly. The location is close to the center but in a narrow alley, making it difficult for taxis to access. The room is basic but complete and clean. It is suitable for the price.

Review: Rooms are so dusty and in bad condition. It’s not the same as in the picture. I booked here to stay a week, but I changed to another hotel. There is no room service, and the worst thing is that there are a lot of molds in the corners of the bed. Very dangerous for health. Staffs are quite okay. But not too friendly. My overall experience with this property is horrible!!

Review: It’s okay for a tight budget. The middle aged female staffs were super helpful and nicenThere are lots of mosquitos in the room and I got annoyed by them while sleeping. No sound proof at all. I basically heard the other guests laughing and talking outside at 1 am. The worst was that when I was in the toilet, I heard a woman moaning from somewhere and it was so loud that I got really uncomfortable.

Review: The location was good, it has an easy access to everything. The staff were not nice though. Wouldn't talk and kinda looked irritable or unfriendly. I get that they don't speak English but aside from that, it seemed like you couldn't really talk to them. On the second day of my stay, the cleaning lady ask if I wanted housekeeping but I don't think it was gonna change much things inside the room. It was really dusty when I came and if you look under the bed, it seemed like it hasn't been cleaned for ages. There were opened sachets of shampoo inside the bathroom. The sink wasn't cleaned properly. There was no hot water. Everything was dusty. I get that the stay here is kinda cheap but I think they should really put more effort into cleaning their rooms before the guests arrive cause to be honest, the place was good. Just needs more cleaning. nnStill happy with my stay though. Thanks for accommodating me!
