Review: Thanks to the organisers and crew of the Paradise Grand. Captain’s cabin was a lovely treat, the food was of high standard and the boat transfer smooth. The area is gorgeous despite debris…not sure how much is from recent Typhoon. We would go back!

Review: My 4th time going to this Bay and the only time I was able to take nice and clear pictures. The weather was perfect in August. I think Lan Ha Bay is better than Ha Long Bay as it is less touristry. The food and service provided by Grand Paradise was excellent. We all enjoyed our 1 night 2 days trip.

9.2 Paradise Elegance & Paradise Grand - Jenni 12-04-2024

Review: We booked 2 nights on Paradise Grand via Agoda but were imformed later on that actually the Paradise cruises company doesn't offer 2 nights option but Agoda does. Instead, we agreed on having the other night on a sister boat. Doing so we were able to ecperience two bays: Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay, as well as different excursions during both cruises. The schedule (itinerary) is fairly tight for everything happening there but one can always decide to skip something if more rest is needed. The staff was incredibly friendly and everything was all in all great. I would highly recommend.

Positive points: We parked in a very good location and overall the room was clean and spacious

Negative points: - short entertainment at night and very quiet
- the excursions were below average and there was no one with us (tour guide) to guide us around
- drinks even water were at our own expense
- service is extremely slow

Positive points: Wow! This cruise was wonderful. We sprung for the extra money and stayed in the Captains View Suite…it was absolutely gorgeous and totally worth it! Huge cabin, amazing private balcony at the front of the ship. Loved every minute of this trip. The excursions were also great! The ship is gorgeous and the staff is amazing.
