Bai Chay Panda Hotel

Positive points: Big and comfortable room, nice people, location is good, close to the beach clubs, sun world park, cable car& restaurants.

Review: Very happy with this hotel and the location. We didn't like the first room, but were offered a great alternative. The hostess was very helpful and we used the laundry service.

Review: Great little hotel with helpful and friendly staff. Rooms are nice and comfortable and they provide breakfast. Very good value for money. The only thing I didn't like is the shower right in the middle of the bathroom with no separation messing everything up.

Positive points: Amazing host, Ana and her husband were totally friendly, caring and always there to help.
Ana helped me to book an amazing one day Ha long bay tour and bus to Sapa.
Her husband, such a gentleman, came with me to bus station to make sure all is arranged well.

Review: Good value for money , location was off the main road , which we didn't mind as we managed to explore a bit more of the side streets and local shops and market. Rooms were basic and simple. There were a few dead bugs , nothing too bad.
Breakfast was included , simple home cooked to order , fried noodle , or soup noodle or fried eggs. Help yourself to coffee and toasts.
We booked 2 rooms , on same floor. Overall, as expected for a simple 3 star hotel. Would I stay here again? Yes...

Positive points: The facilities are exactly as shown in the photos: the rooms are spotless and the beds very comfortable. However, what truly makes this place an exceptional experience is the service from the staff. They go above and beyond any expectations, making your stay truly memorable. There aren’t enough words to thank them for turning my visit into such a beautiful and pleasant memory. They helped me organize all the tours and gave excellent recommendations for dining and going out. Without a doubt, I leave with the desire to return. Definitely the best hotel in Ha Long Bay!

Positive points: Everything is clean.

There are three water bottle but I don't really like the taste.

Water is hot and ready for me to take a shower. It's a good way to get cooler while waiting for the air conditional does it job.

The window can be opened so fresh air can enter the room.

Free breakfasts are available.

Positive points: Amazing hotel at affordable prices. We stayed there for two nights as a group of 5. Having booked the largest possible option on Booking, we were given two large rooms with 3 beds total. One standard bed, one queen size bed and one massive king size bed, made out of two queen size beds. We even could have accommodated two more guests. Both rooms were in a modern and clean overall condition and featured a spacious bathroom. Since we stayed immediately after a large typhoon and the hotel wasn't back at it's usual capacity, the owner served us an "á-la-carte" style breakfast with several options to choose from. Options included fried noodles, eggs, vegetables, bread etc. We were very satisfied with the Bai Chay Panda Hotel and will definitely come back for our next visit to Ha Long.

Review: The accommodation is clean and airy, with many restaurants and convenience stores around, making it very convenient for guests. I will return next time if I have the chance to stop by.

Positive points: The hotel was located in a local neighborhood but very centrally located near shops, a great French bakery and many inexpensive restaurants. The room was spacious and had everything you needed. The bathroom was big for Vietnamese standards. The bed was huge and very comfortable. Most hotels have extremely hard Mattresses and I’m a side sleeper and it leaves my hip and shoulders hurt for days. Even the breakfast was nice and the coffee was more to European standards. Loved it

Review: We had an overnight bus that arrived earlier than expected (3am) we didn’t book that night but the staff there let us book a room so that we could sleep , super helpful and arranged a tour to Ha Long Bay for us and arranged our transport to Ninh Binh - picking us up from the hotel and dropping us right to our next stop! Would recommend, thank you!

Review: Was a lovely spacious room and bathroom, breakfast was simple but nice! the “balcony room” was not a balcony, but a window with plants outside of it, not something you could access (this was not a concern for us just worth mentioning) we had a lovely stay here
