Draha Halong Hotel - Serenity, Charm and Nature - A Vietnamese Favorite

Review: Bit bougie (by my standards) but probably the best room we had in Vietnam. Neighbourhood looked kind of new and bit out of the way from downtown for the bay cruises and to check out eateries. I'd say you either need a scooter or taxi as location is good for the ferris wheel?attraction only. Very nice establishment, have a lift and restaurant downstairs, the room was nice a decent sized, we had a nice balcony with outdoor spa, the cute rooftop garden . The spa only delivered warm water when we were there...but the shower was hot with good space and pressure. Overall we thought it was really nice and worth the short 10-15min commute over the bridge.

Positive points: Beautiful small hotel in the lovely Hong Gai district of Ha Long Bay. Walkable to tons of cafes and restaurants and the waterfront. Perfect location. The hotel was very charming - great breakfast included and the room decor had a very relaxing vibe. We enjoyed our stay and the staff were very attentive and helpful. We had a slight issue with the a/c control but they came and helped us out, so we were able to have heat in the winter season. Would definitely stay here again.

Review: Always a crapshoot when booking online. You don't really know until you open the door. Remember, travel is an adventure, however I would not only recommend but would stay here again.

Positive points: The location was perfect. The room and the view from the hotel was beautiful. The staff was very helpful, they helped us with all our tours in Halong Bay and transfer to Hanoi seamlessly. Will go back again.

Review: We did a motorcycle trip from Hanoi and Draha was an ideal base. Great staff. Only disappointing thing was lukewarm water.

Review: Our group of three arrived at HL at 1 PM, and the staff were very nice, allowing us to check in an hour early. The room had a lovely street view, and the vintage interior matched my taste perfectly. It's a pity we didn't get to try the dishes at the hotel's restaurant we'll definitely come back to enjoy it next time.

Positive points: It was like being in palm springs, the area was quiet, lovely buildings and greenery. Crazy good coffee shops

Review: I booked a room for 2 nights over the weekend, got a good price, the hotel is clean, the location is a bit far from Hòn Gai to Bãi Cháy, but very close to great and cheap local dining spots. The staff are very enthusiastic in assisting when needed. Highly recommend.

Review: The hotel is clean, has a beautiful view, and the staff is enthusiastic. I forgot my wallet, but the security guard found it and left it at the front desk. I didn't even get to thank everyone. It's a worthwhile hotel, and I would come back if I have the chance.
