Vinpearl Resort & Spa Ha Long

Review: Beautiful hotel and extremely high end. Faultless resort in a class of its own, unique location.

Positive points: Location in terms of the views and isolation for peace and quiet. The indoors pool was clean, buggies were fast and the boat to mainland was quick. The staff was trying hard but it was a hit or miss some staff was rude att he restaurant but mostly they were friendly.

Review: The hotel was very clean and the staff were very accommodating. We went here for a friend’s wedding, would love to go here again with my family for vaacation!

Review: Booked through Agoda, easy. Booked suite and on top floor, 8th. Checked-in on land, then transferred through boat. Facilities were beautiful for the price paid. Room on 8th floor was spacious but seemed to be designed inefficiently, with lots of unnecessary spaces. The shared balcony were accessible to many staff as they were attempting to repair something as there were many people on the balcony, especially early. Overall, very nice stay, clean, and well worth it for price paid.

Positive points: I love everything except I don’t have much time to go tour the building. But always next time

Review: There were a few issues. Internet kept kicking us off. They sent an engineer but he didn’t know what to do and just laughed when I told him the Internet will eventually come back after 5-20 minutes. They didn’t give us any notice to let us know that there will be a gardener on our balcony for hours. The Italian restaurant had a nice server but she never checked back with us after we got our food. I had a medical emergency and needed to come home early and asked if they can make an exception to adjust the room reservation even though it was non-refundable. I was asking for an exception since I had submitted documents of why I needed to leave early. They only offered credits to the hotel which did not help my situation. Kind of hard being on an island hotel where they also don’t allow you to bring outside food on to the island. The pillows were too high so I asked for thinner pillows. The ones they sent up were thinner but really hard so we were not able to use them. My husband is 6’1 and the king size measurements did not appear to be king size but they said that is up to their standards. Then the safe stopped working and needed a battery charge. They fixed it but it took time waiting for the engineer to show up for the Internet and the safe. We tossed and turned a lot and didn’t get a good nights sleep. The property is nice. I recommend it when the weather is better.

Positive points: The luxury room, the great food, the swimming pool and beach. The great service, on a private island with (from our balcony) a stunning view on Halong Bay.

Review: We loved this place, relaxing, quiet and just perfect for a holiday with the little one. So many things to do with children, our room had an an amazing Ha Long bay view. The beach there looks just stunning… we wish to be back angain ..

Positive points: The property was beautiful, had the best views and had access to private beach.
The food was excellent, the amenities were great, check in was smooth.
The decorations for Christmas was also beautiful
