Review: A cute little place to stay and explore Hoi An.

Review: We had a lovely stay here - it has a real small family run hotel feel which we loved, but the pool / rooms etc are high spec!

We arrived 2 hours early and our room was already ready for us to check in. We were greeted by a summary of things to be aware of in hoi an, as well as recommendations for things to do! We were upgraded and had a lovely room which was huge and overlooking the pool.

We loved breakfast - all cooked completely fresh to order and really filling. We also loved the location as it was outside the real touristy bustle, but it is a bit of a walk into town (we liked this though as it got our steps in and you go past a market)! Also make sure you ask the owners questions and seek their opinion! Eg. On the final day we were about to head to the post office in a taxi in the pouring rain to post our tailored clothes at which point we were told that they could call for us and get them to come to reception and package it for us, with a 7% discount too.

There are also bikes so you can cycle through the rice fields 2 mins away. Our only small gripe was that the bikes are a little tired and could do with a refresh! But otherwise really recommend - would 100% stay here if we came back!!

Positive points: We really enjoyed our stay at discovery villa. Great value for money. Big room with a nice balcony. Bicycles available for free. And since Hoi An is really a bicycle friendly city it's really nice.
The hotel is like 20 minutes walking from the city center, but we really enjoyed being a bit far from all the tourist hustle and bustle. You can also go explore the countryside and rice paddies by bicycle which are very close

Positive points: The villa was beautiful, the room was just like the photos wonderful, cosy and clean with a beautiful balcony. The hosts were so lovely and friendly, my husband was a little unwell on our first day and they made him a fresh ginger tea which really helped. Thank you! Everything about our experience was wonderful, great shower, wonderful breakfast each day we stayed. The location is a short walk to the old town and peaceful. Thank you for such a wonderful stay in Hoi An. I wish we had booked for longer!

Review: My family and I stayed here 2 nights and we wish we had planned a longer stay! The Villa was beautifully designed and decorated, situated just a bit outside of old town Hoi An. This was perfect as it provided us with much needed peace and solitude after having traveled through the larger, congested cities of Vietnam. However, it was about a 6 minute drive into old town which was close enough for us to get a grab cheaply whenever we decided to go into town. The owners of the Villa, a middle aged couple, were graciously hospitable, cooking breakfast for us each morning, helping us with everything we need to make our stay comfortable as well as set up travel preparations to our next destination. Our kids absolutely adored this place. We would 100% recommend this Villa to anyone planning a stay in Hoi An and look forward to staying here again whenever we return to the area. We have already recommended the Discovery Villa to some friends getting ready to travel here in the coming weeks.

Review: The owner is so friendly, spoke at length with us to better understand the country & people (1st time to experience this since arriving). Nice pool area, bacon/eggs option for breakfast (with Bahn Me roll). Soft bed, nice pillows (esp. when reading against the headboard). Great value, will return! (Poor bathroom layout, but minor issue)

Positive points: Everything was great! Welcoming and helpful hosts. Amazing breakfast prepared just for you. I really recommend to try local options for breakfast. There are bikes that you can take for free to travel to the old town or to see rice fields. Nice pool and comfortable rooms :)

Review: Great place, friendly staff, good rooms

Positive points: Everything was perfect, Thuy Thanh Ho did an amazing job to organize our trips and make the stay most comfortable. She and her husband and the whole team were absolutely friendly and helpful and made every wish possible. We couldn't feel more spoiled. Beside that the room was really great with huge beds and very clean. It was really quiet and a peaceful oasis in the middle of the city with only fifteen minutes to walk to the Old town or free bikes if you needed. The breakfast was very good with excellent Vietnamese coffee and lots of fruit. We will definitely recommend this place.

Review: Really nice hotel, hosted by a lovely couple. Would definitely come here to stay if I come to Hoi An again. Only downside is there is no curtain for the toilet window so it gets really bright in the morning.

Positive points: Beautiful, quiet location, close to everything but far enough away that it was quiet and peaceful! Staff are wonderful! Beds are super comfy!
