Fig Tree Boutique Villa

Review: I tried to get in touch with the hotel and Agoda as i was having problems with my flight and NO ONE answered! They only replied today after i failed to show up as the hotel because of my delayed flight. Not a nice experience so NOPE! Do not recommend!

Positive points: Enjoyed our stay at the Fig tree boutique. We stayed in connecting room which has plenty of space for family of 4. Beds were comfortable and room was spotless. Breakfast was lovely and served each morning with platter of fresh fruit. Staff were great, very friendly and were able to help with any questions. The hotel is in good location and down an alley way. We enjoyed coming back to hotel to cool down in the afternoons

Review: We enjoyed our stay here. The room was perfect for a family of 3. The staff was very friendly, breakfast on the patio was very nice and the pool was nice after a day of sightseeing.

Positive points: I liked the location of the hotel and the fact you could bike it everwhere. The hosts made us feel very welcome and were really helpful in getting us cars, info about tours etc. They cooked us eggs every morning, overall a lovely boutique hotel to end our stay in Vietnam.

Review: It was a good trip to Hoi An. The place was so peaceful, the room and service was good. However, the swimming pool should be clean regularly if you want customers coming back next time.

Positive points: A great place to stay in Hoi An. Perfect spot between old town and the beach. A beautiful pool to swim in. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We loved our stay here.

Review: We loved our time at Fig Tree Boutique. For us, it was the perfect spot in Hoi An halfway between Old Town and the beach. The room was spacious and loved our balcony overlooking the pool. Run by a family all staff were very friendly and helpful, even if there was the language barrier at times. Breakfast was included, with simple options and they had bicycles available to use for free.

Positive points: Away from the hustle and bustle, but near enough, you can walk into the old town. Staff are extremely accommodating. It was a fabulous stay.

Review: The place was ok. You can rent the bike and enjoy the city. Breakfast was simple but white people get the service better… which disappointed me a lot. I found small bugs in the floor and they came into my luggage and found them at the next location! It’s really small bug and move very fast. I tried to kill them all but even came to my country!! I would not stay there if I knew there were bugs and discriminated services by the race.

Positive points: When I first arrived I really wasn’t sure, because I could hear music from a nearby location, however this was just an event and then silence and tranquility reigned. The room was huge and the bed even bigger. Great shower and bathroom with a good supply of toiletries.
Very clean, could not fault it.
Breakfast had a simple selection, but more than filling and adequate to start the day.
Staff (Hien) were so helpful and accommodating, Hien really did make the experience extra special and her calm manner was so reassuring, especially for a solo traveler.
The pool was lovely, especially to start or end your day.
The free bikes are excellent for riding into town (about ten minutes).
I really enjoyed my stay and have recommended it to friends.

Review: Lovely people at this place that care for their guests.

Could be much cleaner, shower was blocked and muck in corners of shower etc.

Biggest downside is the noise between rooms. You can hear the person next door breathe it’s that noisy. No privacy from this.

Positive points: Very helpful staff. They got us a Dr appointment when we needed one and bought my husband a cake for his birthday. Great breakfast. Excellent location. Very large family room which was great for us plus 2 children. Good pool.

Review: Fig Tree was great. Hoi An is very very busy with tourists so it was nice to have a place to get away from it all. We rented a motorbike for 3 days which made it so easy to go into centre and then escape back to the figtree pool in the afternoon. Still a few food options in walking distance. Otherwise it’s only 50k dong taxi to old town. Highly recommend restaurant 328 about 5 minute walk away for good Vietnamese food. The baby ducks and friendly dog made it feel like home :)

Review: Lovely boutique hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. Nice garden/pool and good wifi. Big rooms (we stayed the upper floor). Enjoyable breakfast and free use of good bicycles which you will need to see the historic town (about 10 mins cycling) although there are plenty of restaurants and bakeries nearby. The bicycles give you an excellent opportunity to cycle to the beach (about 15 minutes) too. Try cycling through the rice fields (starting 5 mins from the hotel). You will be amazed. We planned two days at this hotel but eventually stayed 6 days. Top!

Positive points: Accomodation was great.
Hiem was very helpful with local imformation and helping to organise transport.
Great location between the beach and old town.
Bicycles provided allowed us to ride everywhere.

Review: We booked for 3 nights but extended with 4, because we loved Hoi An, but also this place. It is half way beach and the old town. With bike you reach booth in 10 minutes. Great stay!

Positive points: Lovely room, very relaxed, very nice breakfast. Amazing value for money
