Review: Areca homestay is a nice place with very kind hosts. They made us feel right at home. The homestay is located 10 min walking distance from the old town. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Positive points: Good location only 10 minutes walking to the centre of old town. Clean and pretty big room and bathroom. The refrigerator was great in the heat. The woman who owns the homestay was very kind and helpful with everything we needed. She helped us book a cooking class (with a discount) and a bus to our next destination, let us take a shower after we checked out, brought us fresh mango, and both washed and dried our clothes for a cheap price. Would recommend this accommodation to anyone going to Hoi An.

Review: We had a very pleasant stay at Areca Homestay. In the beginning we had booked the homestay only for 5 nights, but extended our stay for 4 more nights.
The rooms are very spacious and comfortable.
Every morning you can choose between different options for breakfast like omelet with baguette, banana pancake, bread with scrambled egg etc. I can recommend the omelet with baguette. And you should try the ginger tea, too!
Areca homestay also offers a laundry service for 30k per kg, which is very good and fast, too. You can rent bikes, motobikes and book tours for good prices as well.
I would say the best part during our stay was the family, which runs Areca homestay. Everyone was so helpful and kind and the children are super cute! Once we had a problem with the water in our bathroom, we've let them know that the water is not working properly and we got a solution within 5 minutes. To me that's real customer service.
