Review: It was a pleasant trip and the staff were super helpful and since we are vegetarian who eat no eggs or meat, they prepared separate dishes after asking us and also did a good surprise arrangements for our honeymoon. It was good.

Positive points: The Trendy Cruise was an amazing boat and exceeded all expectations. The cruise manager Nhung was fantastic and ensured we had an amazing time. She ensured our needs were catered for. Louis served us in the restaurant and he was excellent and so helpful from start to finish. Couldn’t rate this boat any higher, definitely 5*!

Positive points: The staff was incredibly nice.

Negative points: The boat was a bit outdated, and the price was too high. A bottle of Moscato d’Asti cost $80, whereas the same wine was only $35 at a 6-star resort on shore. If I could offer advice, it would be to stay in a luxury hotel on shore and take a day trip to the island instead.

Review: We were a grp of 4 withna 8 year and a 74 year old.

The cruise worked fine for us. I am particularly grateful to the cruise manager Nilo and his service staff Merlin. Both were professional in their duties and strived to provided good service through out.

I would like to personally thank Miss Hannah Pharm from HQ. She was responsive to me every step of the journey including on a public holiday.

All in all a great cruise.

Had a relaxed holiday which was what I was expecting.. didnt feel crowded so you still get to enjoy the facilities

Review: Very Friendly staff special thank you to the cruise manager and our server Ken and Colada. Beautiful moments and the executive suite was superb and amazing view to Halong Bay. Decoration for my girlfriend’s birthday party was amazing and well decorated. It was a special experience! We will come again!

Positive points: The cabin, and public deck areas, were very clean and beautiful. The staff was very nice, and helpful when we asked for information about the area we were visiting. The buffet food was fresh and very good.

Negative points: The food at the plated dinner was very good, but not Vietnamese cuisine, and I would have preferred more local ingredients and menu. The staff was very helpful and friendly but almost too eager, always asking, all the time, how we liked every aspect of the stay, which made the stay less private. The music during happy hour was too modern and loud (think clubbing). The excursion to the cave on Cat Bi Island was fascinating, the only problem was the shared bus, which was very old and musty and needed a really good cleaning (an open air bus ride, or the ability to open the bus windows, would have been much better).

Review: The Orchid group and their many cruise ships are a well-oiled machine. Everything is planned perfectly. The staff are lovely and friendly, and make the experience of seeing the natural beauty of the bay even better with their service.

Positive points: In regards of what we liked…
Our Tour lead Tien was outstanding. He was in charge of picking us up at the pier and provided all info along the way about our stay. The itinerary was accurate and the ENTIRE FOOD & BEVERAGE CABIN CREW were friendly and nice, their service was TOP NOTCH AND VERY ATTENTIVE. Food was very good and room amenities are as described and we did relaxed very well. We loved our morning Tai Chi class with Tien and loved the cooking class. We did tried the squid fishing but unfortunately due to the moon we were unable to catch any however Tien still encouraged to try and that was very fun.

Negative points: Well… this is the part that I will say it ruined my entire experience as it was my welcoming and my fond farewell. As you know the first and last impressions are the most meaningful ones and as a service professional this was very disappointing. During our check in process an agent at the front desk which did not had any name tag on (I will share in email images so management may identify her) as in the cruise the staff was truly amazing and I do not believe it’s fair for anyone else to have issues because of this. But during our check in process, the agent proceeded to explain charging details. As she finalized, she requested my card and inserted to machine. While the card was in the machine she started assisting another inquiry from another guest. I’m clearly in front of the machine and see the message that all ATM cards due upon processing payment (*Print Receipt*) as she continues to speak with the other guest, she removes the card and does not print but says the card was not processed when on my face it clearly did but since there’s a language barrier and I did not wanted the check in process to be delayed as they were about to pick us up I provided once again my card for her to pass it. Obviously since it already been processed the card said •No funds• I shook and immediately revised my account. To which I share with the lady that the payment had been processed. She continued to say that it hadn’t and I needed to go back and forward with my signal to provide her evidence of my account. To my surprise a couple from Spain who were next to me “guess what?”… They were having the SAME ISSUE. Literally they had processed payment and were trying a second payment. Ensuring that they would return if it was doubled… that is completely unacceptable! So I started to go back and forward, they even took a picture of my bank statement via my phone to share with their management.

Positive points: The staff was incredible especially Shadow, Benny,
Bobby, and Julian! We had incredible food and drinks and all the activities were so fun! I loved our room and this experience was one of my favorite activities that we did in Vietnam!

Negative points: There was not a single thing that we did not like. The entire cruise was excellent.
