Vietnam Backpacker Hostels - Hoi An

Review: It’s a clean hostel just a little far from the town .

Positive points: Great party hostel, met so many good people from around the world! The in house restaurant was handy as well as the hostel is a little far from the main bit of Hoi an. The hostel does a great job of organising events and things to do.

Review: The staff were great and the facilities were really good. Free beer and foodat the bar during happy hour. Downside it’s a bit far to the town centre but you’re also closer to the beach

Positive points: The beds were extremely comfortable

Positive points: Very social and lots of activities available. Staff were super friendly. Rooms were clean and spacious with storage underneath. Toilets very clean!

Review: The beds are not private and it's quite the party hostel so you don't get the best sleep. Great bathrooms though. Bet it's a fantastic place to be if you want some fun nights out.

Positive points: There is free transport every evening to the pubs and bars in the old town.
The staff was really helpful and tried to answer any question I had.

Review: One of the best hostels I've encountered in Vietnam. Really big and has the feel of a hotel. Free breakfast and availability to book any activity at the hostel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean.

Positive points: Very social hostel. Free breakfast was egg on toast or pancakes or fruit and was decent. We stayed here over Christmas and paid for the Christmas Day deal where we got a 3 course dinner, music and free drinks for 2hr and it was definitely worth it. The food was great! It was quiet after 11:30pm ish which was nice. Recommend the cooking class & coconut boat tour too.

Review: First the positives, the hostel and rooms are nice and tidy, that's about it.

Negative:
1. You have to pay for everything, even for the towel, or if you want something extra for the so-called breakfast (egg and baguette)

2. The staff is unfriendly, rather playing with their cell phones than answering a question.

3. the prices for the food is really expensive for what is on offer.

4. The pool is so extremely dirty that you can't open your eyes.

6 the location is not recommended you always have to calculate 70k for a taxi to get into the city.

All in all it was the hostel we felt the most uncomfortable on our Vietnam trip

Positive points: The ambience of the property, staff and food all were really good

Review: Little out of the city but makes up for it in facilities. Very sociable hostel with lots going on. Good free breakfast too. The pool area is nice with lovely views of paddy fields. Would 100% recommend.

Positive points: The best property we have stayed in in south east Asia. The staff were so nice and helpful and the rooms were very clean and modern. We had the best stay here.

Review: Beautiful pool overlooking the paddies. During breakfast you can even sight some farmers 5 meters away from you. Receptionist is friendly. AC in the room is really cold at night. Very cheap price. Free bikes to travel around and buy some food.

Positive points: stayed in another mad monkey previously and this was much better. the staff were so friendly and helpful. great if you want to socialise. a bit out of the way location wise but super easy 5/10 min drive to centre. room was lovely and had a balcony
