Tropical Home Villa

Review: Everything was fine. For the price per night, a standard you’d expect.
We were on the top floor and there was mould on the walls in the corner. Likely from heavy rainfall and roof issues.
Staff were nice, breakfast was pleasant. For the price point I think fine.

Positive points: Amazing host who gave us loads of recommendations for food/drink and activities in Hoi An.
Excellent location- 10 minute walk into the Old Town.
Lovely large rooms and a nice pool.

Review: Location — the property is roughly 1km away from the old town center and located kind of deep within residential area

Room — Nothing wrong out of the ordinary upon check-in but after 2 nights of constant rain, the room felt high in humidity and uncomfortable. Parts of the wooden flooring also started sweating.

Hot water - Couldn’t last beyond 15mins.. so the 2nd person has to wait for a bit before hot water is restored.

Bathtub - Unusable (due to hot water issue) unless it is for a cold bath. Water also automatically drained off despite stopper was shut.

Food - basic but generally served cold (except made to order items ie eggs / pho)

Staff - Cherry was exceptionally welcoming and gave great recommendations on food/tailor services.

Positive points: Good location. Nice that you can use the bikes, but be aware that they are not in a good State.

Positive points: Nice rooms with a minimalist, but stylish interior. We liked that it was not directly in the oldtown, because there it is really busy. It‘s quiet, the staff is extremly friendly and the breakfast is rich.

Positive points: The breakfast was the best I had during my Vietnam travels. The staff is also very helpful with everything. I needed to find a doctor and they gave me a good address and even arranged the appointment for me. Thank you for that!

Positive points: We had an amazing stay here and felt really well looked after. The place was spotless, which made it super comfortable. Our room was spacious with a huge balcony, perfect for relaxing, and the bed was big and cozy, just a bit on the softer side. The laundry service was available for a small fee and came in really handy during our stay. Breakfast was excellent with a cold platter plus made-to-order pho, eggs, omelets, and more. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming — we arrived two hours early, and since our room was ready, they let us check in right away, which was a really nice touch. The location couldn’t have been better — quiet, yet close to plenty of bars, cafes, and spas, and just a short walk to the town center.

Positive points: The hotel offers great value for the money, with a clean and comfortable room. The air conditioning worked perfectly for us. The coffee was also very good. Additionally, the receptionist was super friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

Review: Needless to say that the villa is beautiful and the rooms are clean. But what stood out for me was the hospitality of the staff! They are accommodating, warm and friendly. It's very well located.

Review: I love the interior design. Breakfast was homely. Quiet place but near enough to city by motorbike or cycle. However water pressure of hot water for bath tub and shower can be improved.

Review: We booked a deluxe room with a bathtub, but since there were only hot water for 2-3 minutes it was impossible to fill with hot water. We were offered to use the shared bathroom in the lobby to have a hot shower, but we would have preferred to have just any room with functioning hot water.

The room was also super humid which made all our belongings feel damp, and it made nights freezing cold. The hotel is also pretty far from the city center.

We normally travel on a budget, and we do not have unreasonable expectations, but I would not recommend this hotel to anybody, sorry.

Positive points: Best location, facilities and staff. Best part is the free bikes that we could use.
