Sunny Garden Homestay

Review: We stayed at Sunny Garden in Dec 2023. The room is clean and adequate for traveling. I like the greenery and the layout of the garden. Feel peaceful.
To Hoi An market and river side, you need to walk for about 15 minutes. A grab taxi cost us about $1 US to get there. $6US to the Cua Dai beach.
The service is wonderful. The host offered free bike if you want to use it. You can order breakfast, lunch or dinner and Thuy (the host) will either cook or order in and serve your meals in the garden. I prefer it because then I didn't have to get the taxi to the restaurant.
I would come back and stay at Sunny Garden again. I recommend this place.

Positive points: The family who run Sunny Garden are so lovely, kind and welcoming. Their daughter is very special. Our friend was unwell and Thuy really looked after her!
Thuy gives lots of information and organised us a car to My Son, a cooking class and a bus to Hue! The room is HUGE and the bed is very comfortable. The location is perfect. Really quiet compared to the old town but walkable in less than 10mins.
Thank you for everything and we really hope to visit again one day!

The place is as the pictures show, the room is located walking distance from the center, but on a quiet and calm street, so really enjoying best of both worlds.

Positive points: We have enjoyed our stay in Hoi An. Staying in Sonny Garden Homestay was a real pleasure.

At arrival everything was explained. Tips were given and Thuy is able to help with everything. We used the bicycles and even got a bigger one when they saw it was too small. Also an early morning trip to My Son was nice. Only two groups at the moment wevwalked around. Price was good.
We went to the Memoriesshow and tickets wete arranged by Thuy. She gave her what's app for 'just in case you need'.

The room with the balcony was nice, clean, big enough. Good shower area with even a 'rain shower'.

Laundry service was ok. Not that expensive and she manage all for you.
Minibar very resdonable prices if you need.

The location is ok. Just a short bicycle yrip to old town (free). Walking to the market 20 minutes. The street is vety quiet in the evening. It can be a bit scarry, but there is a good way to walk in the light at night.

The roomprices are relatively cheap.

If we need a place again, this Sumny Garden Homestay with Thuy and her friendly and helpfull staff will be firbsure on the list.

Review: We stayed for 3 nights, 1 more than originally planned. The room was a standard double, very clean, big room, toiletries included. Staff very helpful, sorted us an extra night and a night bus. It’s a 5 minute walk from old town, nice and quiet area. Always somebody there to help you if needed. Very good stay, would stay here again if we were in the area.
Only improvement would be maybe some cups and kettles in the room, and sometimes the shower ran out of hot water, but all in all, we couldn’t complain about anything else. :)

Review: The room was new so the facilities were great. The family were friendly and helpful and the main contact person spoke English well. The area is a 5 minute walk from the Hoi An market and the central, historic part of town.

Positive points: This place is one of few places I have visited in Vietnam that has it all! Usually I feel like something is missing, but not here. The prices are very fair and you also get to use the bicycles for free. The location is quite close to the old town, but since it is just across the bridge, it is nice and quiet when you want to relax. Best of all is the family that owns the homestay, they are so kind and welcoming, that I extended my stay. Thuy is so service minded and kind, willing to help you with anything if you ask for it. I hope more people get to experience staying here with Thuy and her family.

Positive points: It was in a good location walkable to main places. Friendly staff / owner who explains where everything is on a map on arrival. Very clean and comfortable. Easy to book activities through the accommodation too. Free bicycle.

Positive points: This was our second time staying at Sunny Garden and once again we had a fabulous stay! Everything about Sunny Garden is excellent including the gracious hosts, the warm welcome, the spacious room, and the delicious breakfast. One of the things we enjoyed most was that although Sunny Garden is within easy walking distance from the old town, it is far enough away to be removed from the noise and busyness. It is tucked away on a street surrounded by the local community and as such you can be part of local Hoi An life if only for a brief time.
