Hoi An Sunny Pool Villa

Review: A lovely and quiet basic hotel within walking distance of old town and night market. Decent breakfast and friendly staff.

Positive points: The hotelroom is very big. The bathroom is also very big and beautiful! The hotel is located very well and a few minutes walking to old Town!

Positive points: Wally was very helpful and not only arranged what we requested for breakfast the next day but had washing done for us and booked airport pick ups and tours.

Review: For the price I paid, it was a fairly good deal, with the Old Town about 5 minutes walk away. The room was spacious, and clean, especially with the white decor. Hot water with good pressure made for great showers.

On the downside, the toilet door couldn't really close properly and the TV had no bad reception, though in this day and age, Netflix and Youtube are better alternatives.

Review: Stayed for ten nights, nice quiet location away from the nightlife but close to walk. Bikes provided daily. Breakfast was fabulous, very clean and service amazing from the beautiful girls who serve you and clean, they work very hard to make your stay comfortable, thank you to you ladies and to Wally ., and the gorgeous little dog whom keeps guard! A great stay.

Positive points: This is a lovely homestay run by Wally and his wife. The rooms are nice and big and the bathroom was very spacious. The hotel is 10 mins walk to the old quarter. The breakfast was amazing. The omelette prepared by Wally’s wife was spectacular. It would beat any Michelin starred restaurant. This is great value for money.

Review: The room was spacious and very clean. The location is just across the bridge and is in a quiet location. Breakfast is made to order. We had a wonderful stay.

Positive points: The hosts were very nice. We got a very nice big room with a big bathroom and balcony overlooking the pool. Too bad it was bad weather or else we would've used the pool.

Every evening Wally (our host) would text us what we wanted for breakfast, so every morning we got very nice breakfast by the hostess (sorry didn't ask for her name, but she was so sweet and nice). Breakfast is between 7 and 10 AM I think, I'm not sure because we get breakfast every morning at around 9 ~ 9:30 AM.

They also cleaned the room every day and clean towels every day. They also gave us a map and tips for sightseeing in Hoi An.

The hotel is close to where all the markets are, so very walkable and also 10 minutes walk from Hoi An Memories Land, which I highly recommend going too.

I would definitely recommend this place.

Review: All the staff and manager Wally and his wife were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a quiet area, just across the river from the old town and night market (5 -min walk) and there are good restaurants in the neighbourhood.

Positive points: Very nice villa with a very clean , spacious room.
You are in a quiet neighborhood but only a few minutes walk from the center, market....
Breakfast is good .

Review: Small but perfect for us. Close to the Old Town. Staff were very helpful with tickets and taxis. Would definately stay there again

Positive points: Wally was an excellent host who helped us with any task we needed, there was also a lovely lady who cooked breakfast on demand every morning. The room itself was spacious and clean. The aircon worked very well and the bathroom was modern with a lovely big shower.
Wally and his team helped us with transfers to the train station and also with laundry. Me and my partner had a great stay and so far out of all the places we’ve stayed in Vietnam, Sunny Pool Villa has been the best.
The pool is clean and though there are chickens nearby, when the windows are closed you can’t actually hear them with the balcony doors closed. There is a lot of nature nearby and when walking around the island the locals greet you with smiling faces.
I think the location of the villa is perfect as it’s away from the main touristy area but still only a 5 minute walk. There are (at least) two incredible food places within a 2 minute walk away which offer fantastic vegetarian options as well! All-in-all me and my partner cannot fault this wonderful property and gracious hosts. 10/10.
